The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
If he’s good enough this is the year for him to put up numbers. Third year in a weakened bchl he should be a top guy for trail if not he’s Finn brown 2.0. I’m definitely intrigued by Carter Matthews however.
Definitely more players available to coaches which is great for lang he can really accelerate the rebuild. If size is his only asset then he’s not a D1 player. College hockey is entering the next level for talent and depth.
Very true doc. The skill and compete has to match the size. If he can skate at the D1 level then he’s worth a hard look. At His size he should be a point per game player in the bchl. I’m sure the staff will be watching closely and if he doesn’t produce this year time to look elsewhere. I’m not...
I would suspect quite a few of Dave’s recruits will not be playing for lang. maybe 2-3 for next year are actually D1 players from Dave’s group of recruits. I would take Carter Matthews, shaw, and Adrian if he can stay healthy. Guys hurt a lot
I think the home sweaters are ok not good. Better than the candy cane striped socks we had for 4 years. Absolutely the worst uniforms. The current away sweaters are terrible tho. The colors are way too much
This man is a winner. 5 minutes into the interview with Sez and you can just tell he’s all business. His approach to rebuilding the program is spot on. Cannot wait to see what he does going forward.
He sure is wearing it and it’s awesome!
Yale for whatever reason never was able to recover from the covid shutdown. Idk why they had less shit going on than rpi did? Allain never was able to get them back on track. Similar to rpi the recruiting has been abysmal past 3-4 years. I wondered how...
It’s been a while but my point being is past 8 years have been especially brutal. Thanks to Shirley’s bullshit and numb nuts McElroy nearly killing the program. combine that with Dave I have no fucking idea how to recruit or hire someone who does know how to recruit smith. Past 8 years were...
I’m sure it is. That’s what happens when we’re coming off 8 years of the absolute worst coach in RPI history. Lang is the right man for the job. Lawler is a glorified community rink.
