    I have a daughter who plays D3 hockey at a top 25 program, and I coached a 16U boys AA team last season. And I say this being an huge fan of women’s hockey, but any top 200 18U AA boys team could name the score against any D3 women’s team.

    Michigan State getting a women's team?

    As a Michigan resident, I think Michigan and Michigan State both get enough positive public relations out of having a women’s club team that they don’t feel the need to ice a varsity team. A varsity team just wouldn’t move the meter with average sports fans more than a club team.

    Colgate with a couple in the portal today. Both are Fargo recruits, I think. Usually he got high level talent. Seems odd Colgate would want them to leave?

    Yes, I’ve seen her play the last 4-5 years, and she has been moved up and back, but mostly has been a D. She’s super-aggressive pinching and activating into the play offensively, so she may translate into a college F.
