The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
I didn't see a thread on this and got tired of sifting through the scores page looking for discussion...

Who's in the Laura Hurd discussion?
Is Michelle Greenway from Lake Forest the frontrunner?
She is a senior this year...she's lead Lake Forest in scoring all 4 years she's been there. (40pts, 40pts, 30pts, 36pts so far this year) Clear heart and leader of the team.
You assume Liwecki or...
Excited for the games this weekend.
Here's the preseason poll from USCHO...who gave St. Thomas a first place vote?

I was looking at schedules for some teams and I see that Gustavus has the "Cardinal Classic" on thanksgiving weekend...are they going out to the Panther/Cardinal Classic this year?
How bad did the WIAC schools shoot themselves in the foot moving themselves out of the NCHA?
Its hard to tell due to the severe lack of WIAC-NCHA games but the WIAC schools are 7-2-2 against the NCHA (3-1-1 against NCHA leader CSS, 1-1 against St. Norbert, 2-0 against Finlandia, 1-0-1 against...
Since no one is giving the new NCHA any love, I figured I'd start a thread.
Going into the season, I figured this conference would be a 3 team race, with Adrian, St. Norbert, and St. Scholastica duking it out for the title. Lake Forest showed some gumption last weekend though up in DePere, and...
Well the WIAC women got off to a good start going 4-2-1 this weekend. If the pool B is not in play, I would think the WIAC would need to go undefeated in non-conference play to have a shot at getting a Pool C spot. With River Falls losing to Bethel and Eau Claire giving up 3 points to CSS, we...
Have we actually figured out if the Pool B is back in play this year?
With the WIAC splitting off the NCHA that gives us 7 Pool B teams..
Superior
River Falls
Stevens Point
Eau Claire
Stevenson
U of New England
Canton
Or do those bottom 3 not count towards the pool B since they are still...
I was looking for the D3 schedules thread but didn't see it, so might as well start this one up.
Looking at Superiors schedule, they definitely aren't making any plans for being in the NCAA tourney this year through a Pool C slot.

I figure some people might start planning their trip...so some friendly advice.
It is generally cheaper to fly into Minneapolis and Drive up to Duluth than fly into Duluth. However, the fly in over the lake is pretty sweet. Expect it to still be cold and possibly snowy in mid march. The...
To Avoid clogging up the NESCAC thread with this discussion...I figured I'd start a new thread. Here are the new rankings for this week.

With the WIAC schools pulling out after this season, the rest of the conference will start their celebrations as the WIAC schools have dominated the NCHA landscape since its inception.
It's gettting harder for me talk about the conference as I'm so far removed from the world of hockey...****...
Does the agreement of the D1 and D3 mens National Title Game being held at the same place open the door for the women's finals to be at the same location?
There's been a lot of talk over the past couple of years regarding how that would be a smart move.
