The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
UCONN was very impressive against Michigan Sate. They completely outplayed MS the entire game and as the MS coach said it was all about Augustine. He stole the game!
Oh to be a coach! High level athletes are as much about what is between the ears as their physical ability. They have the ability but the pro level mental toughness is lacking. This is Jay's toughest coaching challenge.
From the BU side I thought RPI out hustled BU for much of the first and part of the second period. They gave in to the presssure in the 3rd period but goaltending and defense were good. A very competitive game against a highly ranked team.
They will need to have a much better game to win and for that to happen it will have to be the best game they have played all year. Much more aggressive pace or they will be done early.
We have to out work Cornell and stay out of the box. Cornell will come out highly motivated and we have to play a fast and heavy game. Otherwise it could get ugly.
Wish we were facing Michigan State since more of a motivational factor . Very concerned about how hot this disciplined Cornell team is and they are out to avenge us knocking them out of the tournament in the past!
