The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Not sure if I am missing a thread or if there isn’t one?
Watching a bit of Wisconsin Clarkson, but will miss the rest of the games due to my daughter’s tournament happening at the same time.
Clarkson making it interesting with a 1-0 lead after one. Is the crowd dead silent or is espn+ muting...
USA Hockey announced that for the first time ever they’ll have 100,000 girls and women as members this year.
Thought I’d share here what I see about girls hockey. No question it should continue to grow, which means more hockey fun for more girls. Love to see it.
Here’s a story someone sent me...
I was at my local sports bar restaurant and the Providence Northeastern women’s game was airing on ESPNU. I’ve never seen women’s hockey on tv out in public before. Thought that was pretty neat. Is this a regular thing women’s hockey in ESPNU?
Who do you think of when you think of builders in the women’s game?
thinking about the hockey hall of fame and how we don’t have a builder from the womens side. I’m to the “not angry, just sad” phase of trying to understand this continued omission. One of the things I like about HHOF inclusion...
Another hockey tourney starts today!
U18 Womens Worlds in Sweden. Games are on NHL Network and TSN; we’ll see how much/which games and teams. It’s like those toys with a surprise in side. You know there’s something in there but you’re not sure what exactly til you get there. Finals may be on...

First Wednesday Women of the year. I got to participate as a guest. We talked about a lot of things, mainly the CHA. Many thanks to Nicole for the...
Thread for the U18 and Women’s worlds. Lots of talk on the Wisco thread about the u18 tourney.
First up is the U18s tourney which takes place in Madison next week, after the 2021 tourney was cancelled and the 2022 was delayed. USA Hockey took over as host shortly after most recent cancellation.
The year in review articles will be coming out soon and I was curious what the uscho posters thought was the best of 2021 in women’s hockey. Do you have a favorite memory? Think a game or play was THE best? What off ice development was most significant to you?
here’s just a few of mine,
1- a...
Thoughts anyone?
I think UMD and NU should be flip flopped at a minimum. Fun that so many are receiving votes.

this newsletter is a great resource for college hockey fans. Written by Grant Kimball, asst coach at Yale.
Tons of relevant links for college hockey fans, including to a new stats site that is out there...
The 2021-2022 schedule has been published for Mercyhurst so I'll start a thread!

Title IX turns 49 today and I wanted to acknowledge it on the college hockey board. Above I linked an origin story of the BC Women’s hockey program, which began in 1973, 1 year after Title IX. I think TitleIXHockey (the...
Worlds will take place May 6 -16 in Nova Scotia. Thought we needed a thread! In 2019 USA took gold over Finland in a shootout, and Canada took third with a bronze medal blow out win over Russia.
This year, Canada will be looking to avenge their bronze medal, Finland will be finding their way...

Hey all - I knew this day was going to come some day. Collegehockeystats.net is going to stop updating next season. This is the number one site I use for stats, and looking stuff up as to leagues, historical references etc. not to...
Wanted a thread for this. This seems like a mostly college hockey fan crowd, but hopefully a pro hockey thread here is ok. NW and PW talk all welcome.
NW championship starts tomorrow, broadcast on nbc sports I think, at Warrior ice arena.
Before the shutdown, Toronto had all the momentum. They...
RMU wins the CHA tourney with a 1-0 win over Syracuse. Really entertaining game. Raygan Kirk is back in net for RMU, so perhaps she was hurt previously. First tournament championship for this group of seniors. Goal went to defender Gillian Thompson who pounced on a puck that bounced off the...
The Lakers FINALLY broke into the season yesterday! Got a 2-1 win at RIT on the strength of 2 goals from Sara Boucher, a freshman from Burlington, ON, a PWHL player.
Very interesting first two lines listed: Pinto, Korzack and Boucher. Pinto, Korzack and Dobson were playing together end of last...

hey All,
The stream quality for the women’s worlds has been fixed since the beginning of the tourney, if you want to watch. No commentary but it’s a passable feed with replays now. I believe US Russia Demi is at 1030 am eastern today, and final is tomorrow at 230...
