The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Single game tickets are on sale for most series. N/C are 19, conference are 24 and TWSNBN is 34. These prices are ridiculous. I suspect the rodents ones will be 34. So much for Women's hockey being a young family event.
I think they are a rival. I think all the B6 opponents are. We've been together so long now, to me it's automatic.
What are your thoughts on the new goalie coach?
The record isn't that important, but her only beating UW once says a lot. UW certainly does not put 50 sog a game up against UMD, so it isn't like she's forced to stand on her head every game against them. Usually the sog allowed by UMD against UW is upper 20's low 30's.
Ava doesn't deserve...
I completely agree. They vote for Gascon because they voted for her before. They probably don't give two rats buttocks about this preseason poll thing anyway.
Whether or not they come back for a 5th year is very interesting question. I think it depends on the depth in the league at goalie. I...
I can't recall all the metrics, but head to head, McNaughton is 10-1-1 with a 1.41 gaa. Gascon is 1-1-10 with a 3.16 gaa. You'd think the 3 time goalie of the year could with tight D in front of her beat UW more than once. More telling she's given up 4 or 5 goals in 5 of those games.
I do think it would be great for the WCHA if a non big 3 player was a scoring machine and a threat to win POTY. To predict Kramer, however, defies logic.
30 points versus 50 is a heck of a gap for player of the year. Makes no sense. She'd have to jump Svensson, Dunne, Gorbo, Amos, Hall, Lindsay, Sappy, Fanalle and Cimorini based on last year's scoring.
On the Kramer thing, I but Muzzy couldn't bring herself to vote for Gorbotenko, so she voted for Kraemer instead. She really made a sham out of the whole thing. Disgraceful.

Yes! If I find something and I can't recall where I saw it, I just say " rumor on the street is......". Nothing's official until it's official.
I just don't want anybody dropping stuff on the site that says "this person is pissed at this person" or "this person is unhappy."
Hopefully things are going well and the wheels are in motion to take care of this. My Dad was diagnosed with bladder/kidney cancer in December 2024 and he had a heart valve issue that wasn't really causing any outward issues but the urology cancer doc said he would not operate and remove the...
Check out the PodKaz with Todd & Nicole, they interviewed Greg and it was quite interesting. The things I took away from the interview is your team will play with more structure and discipline, they will ramp up the compete level and he and the players WILL butt heads as he coaches with "more...
