The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
All the publicity from the team says that tickets go on sale to the general public tomorrow morning at 8:30 AM. But on the website page for single-game tickets, every game says that on sale starts tomorrow at 10:00 AM. Anyone know any reason for this discrepancy? If its anything like last year...
I think I would be on the side of NDSU -40 in a hypothetical matchup against Maine in that year's championship game. We lost to Eastern Washington by 31 points, and then they went ahead and lost to the Bison by two touchdowns. Obviously you can't just completely use the transitive property, but...
Obviously I cannot prove this, but my suspicion is that there's been some AI use in generation of schedule postings and releases, leading to all the errors. I can't ever recall this number of discrepancies and errors before this year, which fuels my suspicion.

@HC is kind of a surprise and disappointment. I would have to imagine, as much as I love to trash the B1G at any given opportunity, that the lack of B1G games on the schedule is more about Maine than it is them. Maine seems very content to have a (mostly) weak OoC schedule to hopefully try and...
If these OoC matchups all become reality, then I think most fans would be satisfied with that, including myself. Facing Cornell in New York for Red Hot Hockey is pretty awesome actually. Miami is also no longer the dumpster fire they were just a short time ago, so that should be a competitive...
Regarding schedule discourse, I think if Maine really wanted to schedule with the B1G or NCHC more often, they could; UNH had Michigan of all people in Durham in 2019, and might have State there this year, and Vermont is hosting St. Cloud State in Burlington. But, given that a two-year home+home...
