    2025-2026 Little East

Now through week 2 of the LEC's inaugural season. The first in-conference games are done and I'd say we're starting to get an idea of how teams are stacking up. Babson starts the season 4-0 with a couple of away wins vs Keene and West Conn. Norwich picks up two big early season wins against...

    CNE

UNE is already looking dominant. Between them, Curry, and Endicott, all three are going to be in the conversation no matter what, but taking down Curry on the road sets the bar high. Endicott should have a good start with an easy in-conference schedule plus a couple of NESCAC's, but we'll see...

    2025-2026 Little East

Didn't manage to catch the game, but looks like we're in for another long season. From the recap, seems like special teams completely fell apart against Plattsburgh and goaltending across both games just isn't there. Lot of seniors have graduated the last few years and the turnover in leadership...

    2025-2026 Little East

Very mixed bag of a weekend for teams to kick off the LEC's inaugural season. In the 'top 3' - Babson comes away with a weekend sweep of Fitchburg, with the teams playing in honor of Jake Thibeault. Plymouth and Norwich dropped opening weekend matches, with Plymouth getting battered by UNE and...

    2025-2026 Little East

Agree that the LEC is going to make some waves as a new hockey conference. Besides the top 3, I feel like we're going to see some former NEHC teams like UMB and USM perform well with the conference having more parity. Still don't think we'll see 2 teams making the NCAA tournament for a bit, but...

    UAA Hockey Offseason

Tough to see UAA struggle with all the distance they have to travel for road games. Might have to make the drive to see them vs Bentley or Stonehill.

    MASCAC Madness 25-26

The Panthers are gone and the MASCAC persists... The MASCAC will be without perennial champions Plymouth State (minus last year... but we'll forget about that), opening the path for some historic and overlooked programs to make a run for the NCAA tournament. Fitchburg won the championship for...

    10/24 & 10/25 games

Yeah true. It'll be good exposure and hopefully both teams will put some effort to get a game or two a year against Hiram. Won't help them much for the poll, but would be an easy trip to make and shows some goodwill.

    10/24 & 10/25 games

Wonder what Hiram's goal is long-term for hockey. Obviously it's a good recruiting piece for the school, but on top of the costs already of running a team, the only close team to them is Chatham. If they want a conference, the UCHC might be their only choice and that'll add some hefty conference...

Former Curry goaltender Shane Soderwall helped secure a huge upset win for Clarkson over Penn State. Massive effort in his 2nd D1 game against some future NHL talent.

    2025-2026 Little East

Just from looking at their EliteProspects page, they have 8 incoming freshmen (4 Fs & 4 Ds). Leaned into EHL and NCDC prospects and 4 are internationals. Not too sure what NEC's needs are for this year, but seems like a balanced class even if there aren't any standouts. Still NEC is always a...
