    2025-26 Penn State Nittany Lions

Great stats Zed. I think Kampersal is taking the non-conference very seriously. I don't know what was up with the whole Campbell thing. Desa will be graduating and Campbell won't, but there is another goalie coming in from Shattuck and PSU has been going to the well with Shattuck. Campbell looks...

    2025-26 Penn State Nittany Lions

RIT v Delaware. The former two PSU coaches vs the former PSU coach and former PSU player. The Kampersal PSU coaching tree. His former assistant at Princeton is now a gm in the PWHL.

    2025-26 Penn State Nittany Lions

PSU salvaged a split with a resounding 5-1 win. Desa was back in the net and gave up another early one, but battened down and finished at a .96 save percentage. Scoring was from up and down the lineup including Lum. The fifth yearers, Vaslet and Lum each scored this weekend. A split is better...

    2025-26 Penn State Nittany Lions

The goalie change for the second game at RIT and the switch to Desa after the first and now the reverse to Campbell. The eyebrows have to be raised. Vaslet is rounding into form and Outwater just keeps getting it done.

Great information posted in your last two posts. Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving 🦃 also. I like to see Kampersal had the team in Boston practicing today. I think that helps the team. Northeastern's rink has seen better days, but you might as well get used to the ice.

The ranking is in uncharted territory for the program. Janecke is taking the program along for the ride. Don't forget about the outdoor game which will be another first for the program. It almost seems like a no-brainer to make this a yearly thing. Playing in Beaver Stadium should entice...

    2025-26 Penn State Nittany Lions

It's hard to question Kampersal on goalies with the luck he has had when the starter goes down and the back up comes in and also does well. The regular conference title is in the bag. The conference tournament is never in the bag. These out of conference games against OSU, Cornell and...

RIT is going to battle Mercyhurst for the second spot. PSU pulls it together and wins 4-3.

Good to see Vaslet get a goal and it looks like it is Stonehouse's turn to heat up a bit. The Pickering Alvarez line for RIT needs a little extra attention tomorrow.

Thanks for posting the links. Roberts has really been on a heater lately and ended up as the player of the week. Janecke had an interview with Lavar Arrington the former Penn Stater who is big in broadcasting now. My takeaway is that she is intense and means what she says. In her first...

    2025-26 Penn State Nittany Lions

RIT split with Mercyhurst 1-0, 1-0. RIT also has wins against St Lawrence and Colgate. PSU should not be looking past RIT to get to Northeastern.

What is the worst thing about women’s college hockey?

Conferences that do not have two game series. Playing a game somewhere one day and then another game somewhere else either the next day or day after is hard on the players and the parents. Tuesday night games are even harder on the players, parents and getting any attendance. The players...

    2025-26 Penn State Nittany Lions

Northeastern is a solid 10-2 who has two losses by an 11-1 Quinnipiac team. Quinnipiac had a 1-0 loss to Brown. Quinnipiac may have just run into a hot goalie for Brown. What it all means, I guess PSU will find out.

    2025-26 Penn State Nittany Lions

Hernick should have been put in for the third period. Desa did not have a shutout going. However, Desa was at .95 for the year so far.

    Christian with two more.

    2025-26 Penn State Nittany Lions

Syracuse narrowed it to 4-2. Then, another shorty, this time by Outwater and followed quickly by an even strength by Walsh. A projected 28 win season sets the program for the next three years with recruiting.

    2025-26 Penn State Nittany Lions

PSU is currently rolling. Cornell is currently down 2-0 to Colgate who just split with RIT. Cornell has a goalie that is Selander like in Bergman. Getting that first goal against a goalie that was at .97 save percentage will be instrumental in sending Cornell down. As far as Syracuse, what is...

RIT split with Colgate. RIT has a win against St Lawrence and now Colgate. Celeste has made a difference.

Boston College Women's Hockey '25-'26: It's The Hope That Kills You

Yes, evidently when you have Hockey East player of the month, Ava Thomas, she helped propel BC to victory.

Fantin has been a pleasant surprise for Penn State. It's hard to fathom that Italy is producing as good as players as she is, but the rest of the world is catching up and she is looking really good in her first year. I think Nicole Hall is really progressing and it would not be a surprise if...
