    Portland would do well with a Q team. The ECHL Mariners averaged about 4,500+ per game this season (73% capacity) and those numbers have grown each of the last 6 seasons. That per game average would put them 5th among all Q teams behind Quebec, Halifax, Newfoundland and Moncton.

    I kind of assumed Penn State would be the one to grab Poirier with how much roster churn they've had and how few portal moves they've made to this point (just a defenseman added by my count). Never really considered Wisconsin to be the frontrunner.

    Very unlikely at this point, given how LHD heavy the blueline is at the moment and that Barr already brought in two other shutdown guys in Bales/Romaine.
