I understand that is your perspective. I also get that it is difficult for someone on the farther ends of the political spectrum to understand. You missed the point.... it was in response to Rufus referring to someone not supporting a 5.5 Trillion dollar reconciliation process as a lost cause. Im not sure why someone thinking that a 5.5 trillion dollar bill should go through regular order vs reconciliation would be considered a lost cause.- Boston_E

I assume the "cause" you are advocating for would be to encourage people to vote for Democrats. Throwing out terms like moron etc may make you feel better and all but really paints you in a bad light. As to your question - a $5.5 trillion reconciliation bill? It should not be that hard to understand.... they are a pro-Israel lobbying group and believe Israel is fighting terrorists that want to eliminate Jews off the planet. You can disagree with Israel's response of course but AIPAC's motives are pretty obvious.- Boston_E

I was reflecting on this last night - and not sure what to make for a prediction. IN 2024 Rogers lost very narrowly. Hard to get info here - but getting really tight. I think NBC and Newsmax are the only ones to have projected El-Sayed as the winner. Down to a difference of appx 14,000 with perhaps mostly mail in ballots to be counted from Wayne county that have been trending to Stevens.. Edit: CNN...- Boston_E

Correct - as i've been pretty clear about in prior posts - while I've always been registered as an independent there was a time i was probably closer to a moderate republican - however, especially in the Trump era, that party has left my (my views have really not changed) so in more recent years...- Boston_E
