The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
It is curious. I just can't imagine that the schedule at Walter Brown Anrea would not allow for this? Although maybe the schools that own these rinks just don't want to commit ice time etc for fear it could interfere with their own teams practice schedules etc.
Well, i said that the republican party has gradually moved further and further away from me. Don't think i said I'd vote republican once Trump is gone - but i always try to evaluate candidates based on the person and position not the party.
I think that is somewhat my point - disagreement is...
Well, in 2022, Chris Sununu (R) won in NH on the same ticket that Maggie Hansan (D) also won so not sure what you mean by your bolded part.
Sure - ticket splitting is less common in the past decade or so than it may have been 20 years ago but it is not all that unique. Even in that election...
Oh please - people started blocking me as soon as they learned i am more of a center left (not far left). Thats a reflection on them, not me. They don't want discussion or debate - they want an echo chamber where everyone nods and agrees.
And - the comment about Kep thinking she would be a...
It appears that way:

Lots of wind at the Democrats backs right now.

But I heard her interviewed saying that she knew she was doing something right since she was being attacked from both the right and the left…. So you guys must all think she is a republican.
I wonder if i'm the only one old enough on this board to remember the Eddie Murphy film where he did exactly that. Ran for congress since his name was the same as the regular congressman.
I'm certainly not a Mike Johnson fan, but on the flip side, i'm not sure the DSA solution of government owns housing and universal rent control are really the solution either.
I was glad to see that even in these polarized times they were able to get the bipartisan housing bill passed.
Angry might be a bit strong - but i do think if Biden had run in 2016m he would have won and then we would have never had Trump - so yeah, maybe in that regard i'm a bit angry.
2016 I voted for Clinton. On paper she was a great candidate, but just didn't have the charisma required and probably...
I get you are angry. I'm angry too. I'm angry that Biden didn't run in 2016, and I'm angry that he didn't pass the torch so there could be a normal primary process in 2024. I'm angry that the republican party has been taken over by the MAGA wing. If the democrats don't win the senate...
Right - i think the more DSA-esque candidates can win in blue states like Minnesota, Massachusetts, Vermont etc etc.
As a general rule, i don't think it will play well nationally and in swing districts.
Sorry, I don't believe that things like abolishing the senate, zero borders, government ownership of most large corporations, voting rights to non-citizens, defunding the police etc are winning messages.
This has been a fear of mine…. Far left candidates do well in the primary but not in the general.
Ironically we see the opposite in Texas
With that said El Sayed at least a little bit I’ve seen of him strikes me as a pretty talented speaker and charismatic campaigner so that poll may not hold...
