    Augsburg drops one to St Bene's 4-3 in OT, that should shake the rankings up again. While St Bene's has an up and coming team it's definitely a disappointing loss. There is no dominant team in the West this year....kinda laugh at all the rankings. Guess you get more credit when there's more...

    I didn't watch the RF game tonight, but that was pretty easy to predict. Rimstad is a great goalie, but you're right, Saint Mary's just doesn't have enough scoring threats or speed to take it above a 2 goal game against a UWRF. The flip side of this the goaltending of UWRF needs some work...

    I'll bite, why would there be love for Bowdoin? Because they beat Middlebury 2-1 on 13 shots? Because they play in the greatest conference known to women's hockey, LOL? Or maybe it's because they went 3-4 in their last 7 games. I'm not trying to disrespect their season, 13-4 is very good...

    Scott, it's not even close, very little interest within the UW schools in expanding hockey. UW Stout which has a men's team isn't even considering it. With the financial challenges that currently exist and bridges burned in the past the WIAC will remain a remote island without an auto bid.
