ECAC '24-25: Who rebuilds? Who reloads?

Bill, you're making my point. To lose that many games by either one goal or being shut out says something about talent deficiency and perhaps a lack of coaching acumen to get the team to improve, even by a small margin. That hasn't happened and I don't see the ship turning around any time soon...

Harvard 2024-25: Once More Unto The Breach

So with the close of another regular season, here are some numbers to chew on for those who think the program is headed in the right direction. Harvard's record over the past two seasons combined: 7-47-4 Total # games where Harvard was shut out: 13 Total # of games that Harvard scored one goal...

Harvard Crimson 2024-2025 - Will our Youth be Served?

Coming away with a split in North Country isn't the worst. It's just the way they got shellacked by Clarkson today that has me bothered. Harvard simply can't beat a team with a winning record. I wanted to believe we would at least make it competitive against Clarkson. No such luck. Oh well, four...

Harvard Crimson 2024-2025 - Will our Youth be Served?

Given what's remaining on the schedule, Harvard needs some help to at least move into sixth place. The North Country trip awaits this weekend, then the final home weekend of the season against Union and RPI with the final two games at Yale and Brown. Nothing comes easy for this team. Would like...

Harvard Crimson 2024-2025 - Will our Youth be Served?

I had a flashback to the Ohio State game in the NCAAs at Bridgeport. We can't defend or create enough chances at the offensive end to scare these teams. As you pointed out, the D needs a complete overhaul. BU simply overwhelmed us. Classless move by Jay Pandolfo to ask for an additional penalty...

Harvard Crimson 2024-2025 - Will our Youth be Served?

I've been thinking the same thought about Healey. Why not use his offensive skills up front instead of exposing his weaknesses as a D-man night after night? You would think Gilroy would have brought this up to Teddy. Especially where they have multiple right-shot D.

Harvard Crimson 2024-2025 - Will our Youth be Served?

Some of my posts didn't make it over to the new platform. Oh well, almost no one reads the thread so it doesn't matter. We suffered a terrible loss last night to the Tigers. We should have closed them out in the third period, but once again, we couldn't finish the job. This reinforces Teddy's...

Harvard Crimson 2024-2025 - Will our Youth be Served?

Figured I would get the jump on the new season by starting the thread with a look at renovations done to Bright-Landry over the summer: Major Renovation Project Completed at Bright-Landry Hockey Center - Harvard University (gocrimson.com)

    Harvard Crimson 2023-'24

Thought I would get a new thread going for the upcoming season with a look at the incoming class: Men's Ice Hockey Announces Seven Incoming First-Years in Class of 2027 - Harvard University (gocrimson.com)

Harvard Crimson 2021-2022 Season Thread: Let's Make Some Noise People!

Okay so I took it upon myself to start a new thread with the news of Adam Fox winning the Norris Trophy as the NHL's best defenseman. Congrats to Adam! First Harvard D man to win the award. At some point, Rathbone may be next.

Harvard Crimson 2016-2017: Restoring the Karma Part II

Not an original title. I get it. But we might as well get started on a new thread for a new season and what better way to do it then to announce the incoming class: http://www.gocrimson.com/sports/wice/2016-17/releases/20160629oxrac0

Harvard Crimson 2014-2015: Restoring the Karma

Hey gang. Someone closed down our old thread. Perhaps it was USCHO? Or maybe someone who felt the karma from 2013-2014 went south? Not sure what happened but I decided to start another one in the hopes that we get a first round bye with a great weekend coming up.

Harvard Women's Hockey 2011-2012: Taking the Next Step

I thought I might as well get a new thread started seeing as the season is almost upon us. Very nice article in today's Boston Globe about Coach Stone: http://www.boston.com/sports/colleges/womens_hockey/articles/2011/10/04/coach_stone_precious_to_harvard_womens_hockey/?p1=Well_Sports_links...
