The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.

We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Reid Dyck led NPI#48 Colgate onto the ice tonight for the pre-game warmup. Dylan Silverstein did the same for NPI#10 Quinnipiac. Andrew Takacs and Jack Olson are also dressed for ‘Gate.
Colgate penalty in first minute of play. Killed.
Very intense play in first five minutes.

Shabby,
https://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=25096
Am headed to Hamilton now from Queensbury. Excited to begin the stretch run of ECAC Hockey league games. Hopefully everyone is as healed, rested and psyched as I am…
HOLY COW, GreenCoat!! I just looked and I think that the last time we lost to Princeton in the regular season was pre-Covid, pre-Class of ‘65 Arena… we lost both regular season games to Princeton in 2012-13. That’s wild!! Thanks!
Bob Prier was the Princeton coach in 2012-2013.
Friday, January 16:
Yale
Union
Quinnipiac
Cornell
Dartmouth
Harvard
Saturday, January 17:
RPI
Union
Princeton
Cornell
Dartmouth
Harvard
Monday, January 19:
Harvard
Goals: 65
There was not one upset on Friday in 5 ECAC games.
And on Saturday, in 4 conference match-ups, Union over Princeton was the only upset.
Why is the 12-team ECAC Hockey conference so predictable?
I love looking at the combined travel partners’ points to see which pair is the toughest in the league. Right now, it is Princeton/Quinnipiac… and they are coming to an arena near you soon.
With 'Gate off this weekend, it might be a good time to look at the rest of the ECAC, especially those seriously looking for at-large bids to the NCAA tournament...
#6 Dartmouth, hosting #17 Harvard,
#10 Quinnipiac, hosting #27 Union and #56 RPI,
#11 Cornell, hosting #46 Alaska for two...
Since Shabby of ‘Gate chimed in on here, I will as well with random thoughts from this weekend…
I think my beloved Colgate is inferior to New Hampshire this season. NPI doesn’t lie… N.H. is #24 today and ‘Gate is #47. There are only 63 programs. Mike Harder scheduled an uber-tough...
Watching college hockey on PPV is definitely different than watching it live:
Barb and Shabby, they didn't listen to you two (and me and GreenCoat earlier this season) about taking penalties. First two to 'Gate tonight.
I like Daniel Panetta's penalty-kill, though. Possession is important in...
Sounds like a great college hockey game tonight at New Hampshire. I stayed home this weekend to watch my beloved Omaha team lose both games to Cornell, 6-4 and 3-2, but Zach Lamont messaged me that Max Nagel is back on the ice for ‘Gate. Hooray!! I will definitely be watching and cheering from...
Happy New Year, all.
Saw earlier this week that Carter Gylander went down from Grand Rapids AHL to Toledo ECHL, and then saw this today…
“Big shoutout to Bobby McMann, who’s quietly on a very hot streak over his last 6 games.
4 goals
2 assists
6 points
+4
20 SOG
9 hits
McMann is up to 12...
Shabby, that makes more sense, as I knew that he played for the Marlboroughs (but not the Maple Leafs). I will ask him the next time that I see him. Thanks!
We (myself included) made a big deal about Colgate traveling to Boston University and then Maine earlier this season, but our next opponent, University of New Hampshire (UNH), is actually ranked higher than both in the new NCAA Percentages Index (NPI).
New Hampshire is #20, while BU and Maine...
GreenCoat, I appreciate your research as I enjoy doing the same. And I totally agree with you on all your points.
I have attended nearly all of the Frozen Fours since 1993. I have been a life-long ‘Gate fan and a season ticket holder since 2017-18.
I want to see Colgate in the NCAA tournament...
There isn’t much to say, in my opinion.
We played a good game tonight, but not a great game. Their fifth goal was an ENG and their fourth goal, an unassisted one, was just a gift from us. Otherwise we played them even up.
As for the weekend as a whole, they swept at home, and we got a split...
Reid Dyck led Colgate out onto the ice for tonight’s pre-game warmup. Andrew Takacs is also dressed. Shane Souderwall is in net for Clarkson.
ColSkate65, yes the Clarkson pep band is in attendance tonight.
Clarkson penalty (holding).
Halfway through, Colgate penalty (tripping).
Both...
