The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
I have the one they gave out in 2010 for the 2009 championship, and if I'm looking at the same one you are, that isn't what they gave out.

Talked about this last week (on another thread?)
At the first home game in 2010 and 2012, they handed out souvenir pucks. (I looked at them the other day, and feel compelled to mention they were provided by somebody named "Becker Law". :) ) I don't know about after 2006 and 2007, I was still...
The prior two years OSU threads could have disappeared one of two ways: either the moderators took it/them down, or the user who made the first post deleted that post, and the whole thread goes when that happens. Grant did that to a Boston College yearly thread when Reggie bugged him more than...
I don't watch much PWHL, but it seems like every time I do - I had the Boston vs Vancouver game on for a bit just now - there are multiple mentions of this player and that player being out injured, or having just returned from being out injured, etc etc.
Are there more injuries in the PWHL than...
Not me. Someone else, who may have since stopped showing up (?). Again, we could look, but those threads "went away".
But once he/she identified it, matching up the details wasn't difficult to do.
BTN had the broadcast rights to the NCAA Women's Final Four for the three years, 2017-through-2019.

He also said that the portal would be the new way to build a team going forward, and that coaches who didn't realize that would fall behind. I would say that using the portal might be a viable option while the COVID year players worked their way through that time period, but would not be...
I'm pretty sure they have carried a couple Wisconsin-Minnesota-Ohio State games in the past. And they televised the NCAA Final Four for three years, including the 2018 final between non-B1G Clarkson vs Colgate. :-o
The championship t-shirts,etc, have started showing up at the Bucky's Locker Room web site (though not at the physical stores yet, per the guy on the phone at the Camp Randall store).
The reason I was on the phone with the guy at the Camp Randall store is that there is one shirt on the web site...
I expect someone will fill them in at some point. Maybe they have jobs. (Of course, if they give me access to the database, I could do it, I've got the time. LOL)
The moment I remember from Gary Thorne and the 2006 men's NCAAs: the game was Wisconsin vs Maine, and at a break, Thorne was interviewing Mark Johnson, who had just won his first women's championship. And somehow the interchange informed me that Thorne himself was a Maine alum. Up until that...
That's true for the WCHA tournament trophy. I'm not sure that it is true for the regular season travelling trophy. Maybe Arlen can correct or expand on this.
I guess the thing that rubbed me the wrong way was Jason Ross did the semis and finals last year, and the semis this year. He had the 'historical knowledge' of the rivalry. But Bucci "big-footed" him to come in and take the final. He did OK, but it should have been Ross' game to do.
I don't know if people have seen this, or other videos of 'the moment'. This is from Friday night, during overtime, when UW was challenging for an upgrade of the penalty to a major, Their season hanging in the balance. Clearly, the pressure was getting to them...
I thought Madison Packer did a pretty good job, made relatively insightful comments, asked decent questions, as a former player would; I'd never heard her do that sort of thing before (maybe she does so on PWHL games?)
The one thing we were saved from Bucci in particular, and men's NCAA games...
