    2025-26 Penn State Nittany Lions

Tough news for Hengelmuller and the program as the Austrian Defender was really good at keeping the puck in the offensive zone. The good news is that Tullock and MacDonald got lots of playing time this year. PSU has to have some money for transfers now. You would think someone would want to...

    2025-26 Penn State Nittany Lions

On paper it is looking good. I tried to find some tape on Fantin and no luck. Once again any transfers in will be apparently announced later than most teams. Retrum was on the watch list for Frosh of the year last year to transferring out after Soph year. The staff needs to take a closer look...

    2025-26 Penn State Nittany Lions

Retrum is a loss for sure and I'm sure she feels like something was askew with her lot this year or else she wouldn't have transferred. Mercyhurst has been busy in the portal and I think is up to five players. It's a relief Retrum did not sign with Mercyhurst like the BC player that transfered...

    Transfer Portal 2025

    That is interesting for sure!

    2025-26 Penn State Nittany Lions

She must have been injured for one of those years as she would not have another year of eligibility. Sisti must have a plan to utilize her in his various systems or maybe he looked at PSU's Dartmouth transfer that PSU found a steady role for this year and thought there might be some value in a...

    2025-26 Penn State Nittany Lions

Retrum had a nice frosh year, I'm not sure what happened this year. Hopefully, she finds a spot somewhere where she can get back to the type of production she enjoyed as a frosh. It is tough to nitpick with 30 wins though. I'm sure other programs are hoping for a Maddy Christian type jump out of...

    2025-26 Penn State Nittany Lions

Penn State Men just clocked #1 seed Maine in Allentown 5-1 and the band was there. If the band can travel for hockey, they can travel for the gals too. Barbro is in the transfer portal. Desa had a nice year and Barbro had trouble getting on the ice. Some NFL coaches have a bellcow RB...

    2025-26 Penn State Nittany Lions

Good question. Bouchard left to play UNH this year, but she had an extra year and Johansson does not. No one in the portal for PSU yet which is a good sign. PSU needs to up their social media game if they want the school to be a hot destination.

    2025-26 Penn State Nittany Lions

Zed with a write up like that, you clearly were not ready for the season to be over. That is some in depth analysis! This is the end of an extra year of eligibility.

    2024-25 Penn State Nittany Lions

Three years of close, but no cigar. Against Quinnipiac, PSU was up 2-1 with six minutes left. Against SLU last year, scoreless heading into OT. Last night, PSU uncharacteristically got down 3-0 early. It is a painful loss, but easier to take mentally since there is no woulda coulda shoulda when...

    2024-25 Penn State Nittany Lions

Just got down quick and this is not a team built to come back from a 3-0 deficit. 31 wins was phenomenal.

Great year with a tough end! Hustler with two so far. Half the game left.

    2024-25 Penn State Nittany Lions

St Lawrence is 2-1-1 against Penn State in their last four. Gosling and Batherson are gone from this year's team. It should be a good game. Abby Hustler needs to get some extra attention.

    2024-25 Penn State Nittany Lions

It seems to be purposeful that PSU is in this bracket! If Penn State is lucky enough to get by St Lawrence, OSU would be a tall task. PSU has knocked off Minnesota, Wisconsin, Cornell and UMD in recent years, but not OSU.

    2024-25 Penn State Nittany Lions

Awesome link, I had not seen it. Hopefully, PSU can get their first win in the tourney. I liked to hear the goal going in was three goals. The d often gets overlooked and limiting Mercyhurst to 13 shots is part of that winning formula. Desa only gave up 1 and was at 92.8 save percentage...

    2024-25 Penn State Nittany Lions

Christian has had an unbelievable year. Best year out of nowhere since Robillard from Mercyhurst. I think Christian is over 20 goals. Christian gets MVP and Stecker and Janecke are on the All Tournament Team. Nice to see Stecker rewarded just like last year when Machado was.

Now the pressure is really on to advance with all those awards. Go PSU.

    2024-25 Penn State Nittany Lions

Cornell is stellar in goal, Bergeman is fantastic and can steal one any time and often does. Colgate surprisingly has not dropped off since Fargo bolted. Clarkson and St Lawrence are rightly in the mix, however McQuigge for Clarkson and Gosling for St Lawrence are a significant loss for each...

    2024-25 Penn State Nittany Lions

I really don't like the conference name change, it was kind of fun to say that you were playing for all the charbles. Syracuse definitely improved over the year. Robertearle gives some great insight. Scanlin for Mercyhurst is making a strong claim for Frosh of the year. It would be nice to see...

That's impressive in wins! The band definitely makes a difference on atmosphere. I like the double shifting as the two sets of wings are dangerous with Janecke for sure. Desa with a shutout is phenomenal. I think PSU has the best numbers for attendance in the East.
