The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Living in the MAGAt land that is west-central Minnesota, three of us were talking about the WJC at my son's hockey practice the other night. I made the comment that I think that the World Cup will fail (probably more hope on my part). When asked why, I said would you want to be a black or...
And failed to comply with the officer's orders to back off. He was doing his job.
Lost in all of this is this tidbit from yesterday. Trump Oil, on its way, once taxpayers pay for fixing the Venezuelan oil infrastructure. From Heather Cox Richardson's column today (1/8/26)

Well, it is sounding like the Oil Companies want nothing to do with the "take over". They are not sure of the condition of the infrastructure and the costs that would be incurred to get them up to par. Sounds like most of the execs feel it would take a long time before seeing any profits for...
I saw the same report...... I taught basic statistics for a year when I was teaching HS many years ago, and one thing I always stressed to the students was a good statistician could make data say whatever they wanted it to. You have to dig deeper, sometimes.
Until this administration starts providing independent data/receipts on anything they say, it is all just a bunch of :poop::poop::poop::poop::poop:
But, MAGAts like 💩💩💩💩💩, so it hits their base just right.
