Boston College Women's Hockey '25-'26: It's The Hope That Kills You

Haha yes, I was referring to current defenseman Shea Frost, who is in the portal. But based on her games played over the last four years, probably isn't going to be a huge loss. Best of luck to her going forward.

From CHN: https://www.collegehockeynews.com/news/2026/03/24_CHN-Special-Report-Part-.php The Ethics There's three reasons a team wouldn't resort to tampering: their own ethics they don't need to (the program is doing a great job already) they are not in position to (smaller schools) or some...

UNH- How Far West Do We Go?

You can't have one sport play down a division if the rest of your athletic department is D1, and schools that are not DI can no longer play up to D1 in one sport (existing schools such as Bentley, Minnesota State, etc are grandfathered in)

UMass Lowell 2025-2026: Youth will be served

Yes, they are sending three/four teams this year. But it's also true that they have not sent "3 teams to the tournament every year for the past 10 plus years", and when you get the facts wrong, it doesn't help make rumors more believable.

UMass Lowell 2025-2026: Youth will be served

While I know nothing about Norm's current thoughts on retirement, that poster has been known to either be factually incorrect at times, or just straight-up lie. He/she claimed "ECAC is sending 3 possibly 4 teams to the tournament this year and sends 3 teams to the tournament every year for the...

UMass Lowell 2025-2026: Youth will be served

I agree that he's probably gone at the end of the season, but if he (and the rest of the MC top guys) stick around, that team could be something to watch in the next year or two. But I also agree that his discipline (or lack thereof) is noticeable. He leads them in penalty minutes and it looks...

UMass Lowell 2025-2026: Youth will be served

Yesterday was Shipley's first missed game of the season, but worth noting he was the extra skater on Thursday. Not sure if he has played his way down and then out of the lineup?

Nice comeback tonight. With the way we've been at home, plus the way BU's been playing lately, I had low expectations, especially after going down early. We pass UNH in the standings, so we'll play MC for the fourth time this season, at Lawler on Wednesday.
