The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
What do you think that means? My guess is Norm didn’t work out a contract extension and it’s now known he isn’t coming back. It might also explain the team’s poor play this weekend.
There's plenty of evidence he was a Umass commit. The Umass logo was on Vernon lineup sheets up until Sept 27th, however his player profile on BCHL.com has Umass listed. College Hockey Inc also has him as currently committed to Lowell as of 8/18/25, the same day as Elliot Gulley. Seems odd...
Thanks for saying something. I just watched Norm’s press conference where he addressed that. That’s crazy, an arena full of people were told he was ejected for using a racial slur. The least the ref could have done was make an announcement to reverse that statement.
This game isn’t competitive. Lowell hasn’t played well at all since the home opener. I know these guys are defending national champions but I expected better from this team. They still can’t score.
I found Easton. He was on training camp roster for Flint Firebirds (OHL) but didn't make the team. He turned up today on the Surrey Eagles roster and scored a goal.

I don’t personally care about the ages, that’s for the BU/BC folks to complain about when they underachieve, but the CHN app does show the average age of each team. I took a look, and here are the Hockey East ages, youngest to oldest.

2 BC - 20 y 287 d

Yes, definitely. In fact, if the team didn’t have these intriguing CHL players coming in to give us some hope, I would have wanted him gone after this past season. Can you imagine how bleak things might look for the coming season if the recent ruling hadn’t made those players eligible? The...
