The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
A back in the day Manch true pub legend. Thirty years ago The Rover was packed to legal capacity with a line at the door after 9:00 PM every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. It isn't what it once was, too many blaring televisions make conversation difficult, but they definitely have enough...
A few additional Manch spots:
Across the street from SNHUrena: Shopper's Pub and Murphy's Taproom
Local chain: Thirsty Moose Taphouse
Manch institution: Puritan Backroom. Short drive, not a walk. Consistently voted "Best of" chicken tenders, make their own ice cream, legendary frozen...
KC's is the real deal. Go to the Arrow for local color or 24 hour service or to experience the hype of a traditional spot for candidates on the NH primary trail. It is franchised now. For better food, service, parking there's Belmont Hall. Short drive, open until 2:00 PM, founded by the family...
Longer walk from SNHUrena: BuBa Noodle Bar
+1. Not all that far. Been around for 25+ years: Strange Brew Tavern
Local chain founded by a UNHer. My Mexican go to is: Consuelo's Taqueria. Order at the counter, plenty of tables, beer and wine only,
Mediterranean Italian. Arguably the finest...
100%. Legit Irish bar: Shaskeen Pub
Not sure if they still have it but there used to be an Irish music session on Saturday afternoons and Marty Quirk crooning Irish tunes on Sunday afternoons.
Also the annual Manch St. Patrick's Day parade is Sunday afternoon on Elm Street: Manchester St...
Single day Manchester seats available. Friday the least desirable upper section seats, ticketmaster is evil, and Sunday in the lower section corners.
Edit: All upper section seats on one side of the arena now available for Sunday. Also there is an age 65+ discount.
ESPN will be televising MLB, a bigger draw than college hockey for sure, at the time. ESPN2 is televising SportsCenter and a bunch of nothing important at the time. Doesn't say much for college hockey television ratings.
After 10 seasons, 227-119-35 overall record, 2016 national championship, Berry not returning behind North Dakota bench
“Berry guided North Dakota to 10 winning seasons, amassing a 227-119-35 overall record to rank fourth all-time in program history in wins. He also captured five NCHC Penrose...
There’s a garage diagonally across Elm street from the arena, another a few blocks away towards the ball park. Street parking is an option. Meters long ago replaced with pay stations. Regulations a little tighter in the blocks immediately adjacent to Elm Street.
All session tix limited. Both single days have good availability in the ends. My educated guess is the upper seats are not currently on sale so not close to a sell out. I'd wait, buy day of at the box office and save the fees. I'm on the Bentwagon!
edit: I was hoping for the old school BC/HC...
