The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Macpersons gone. I have a feeling he misses his brother since they played on the same team for years. His brother more than likely wasn't being asked back, good luck to both of them.
Though I agree with you about his ability to recruit he really had no option to do this to stay at least competitive. Maine has 9 in the portal. When Carvel took over UMASS he cut 10 kids from the roster and their fine now. Look at the Heisenburg team lists many teams have multiple players...
There's gonna be so many kids in the portal this year, many that are gonna have to settle on Div 3 schools compared to prior years. Souza probably knows this could be his last chance to salvage his job and if mostly the bottom half of the depth chart leaves that's why.
DeAngelis is a D-men and I think either him or Plandowski is gone just a guess. I'd guess on Siedem, DeTurris and Mcpherson who probably wants more playing time and maybe reunite with his brother?. Guess we'll find out soon enough.
Connor Davis teammate of Nicky Romeo has Decommited from Northeastern. In 59 games he has a 26-29-55 line. 2006 BD. Wonder if there would be any interest in him.
I was looking at portal this morning and I see the woman's side is now closed [April 6]. UNH only lost one player and should be very competitive next year as they had 4 strong freshmen, good luck to them.
Hey Cinn question. Xavier Cormier UNH recruit was playing just about every game and had some nice totals for a 16-17 year old defensemen 6-11-17 +16. He then stopped playing completely was he injured?
Wiebusch is from Wisconsin and with their success this year i'm sure their one of the front runners. Silverstein if promised to be the number one goalie might be a little more logical but don't hold your breath.
Here's an update on a few incoming recruits. Kole Hyle's season is over as his Omaha Lancers failed to make playoffs [19-38-3] he finished 58-23-19-42[+6] a 2026 or 2027 recruit. Blake Cash played for Cushing 33-17-14-31.Led the team in goals. Cushing won the NEPSEC Prep School large school...
Souza should pounce on this kid.. Alex Weimer played a year and a half for Denver went back to the WHL's Portland Winterhawks and has a line of 66-37-56-93 kids already in Portal go get him Mikey.
I think Oliver is a skilled player with a heavy shot, his style just might not be a fit for UNH.Take Stiven Sardarian, goes to Michigan tech and scores 79 points in 72 games, CCHA forward of the year and more than likely 1st team All American.
