The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
I thought BU looked like a completely different team when the game was tied V when they had a lead. It seemed like once they were ahead they were content to just soak up the pressure.
I liked Nadeau and Poirier on different lines. They’re too small to be together 5x5. Hopefully Poirier can...
I see more of the same if I’m brutally honest. Barr deserves full marks for what he got out of the team last three years with the combination of incredible goaltending and a motivated group, but most of those guys have moved on now. If you look big picture I just don’t see that the talent has...

Hopefully this gives Maine some momentum for the very important games coming up. Let’s be honest though, this was not a good result at all as far as pairwise goes. I think Maine played a pretty good game tonight, there just isn’t much between these teams.
Obviously we’re frustrated with Maine’s play but credit to Colgate. They play a really solid game and look a well coached team. I’m impressed how many shots they’ve blocked.
I would think most athletes/coaches know that this kind of stuff is pretty easy to spot now. Only way you can get away with it is by betting small amounts. With all that being said, sports going big into the gambling was penny wise pound foolish.
This is my take on the state of play…the leadership last few years were the guys who went through all the adversity in 2020 and 2021 and had an incredible amount of motivation because of it. I don’t think people come close to appreciating how hard they worked. That’s no indictment on this year’s...
