BU Hockey '25-'26: Can we keep up the run to Vegas?

You guys have phenomenal individual talents......goaltending and team speed?.....not so much. In the future.....Pandolfo & Co. may want to concentrate on building a TEAM rather than just collecting draft picks.

UMaine 25-26: Marques My Word: Back to the Big Time

Yeah....can't say we missed out on much there.

UMaine 25-26: Marques My Word: Back to the Big Time

Maine gonna jump BU & BC in the totally meaningless polls?😱😱😱

I guess that I won't complain about Boija anymore.

This has not been a good night for Jay Pandolfo.

Totally agree with this. Those 2 should not be on the same line. I think that height is where their similarities end though. Poirier is more solidly built and more aggressive. They both have good hockey sense but I think that Poirier anticipates better and obviously has a better shot.

Poirier was on fire tonight. He's going to be a terror for other teams all season long. I'm not sure Maine has ever had a player quite like him.

Well....win or lose....I feel more positive about the overall team play.....but Boija is an issue. They need a rotation.

Although they can obviously bury shots....I am not overly impressed with BU. Their D is big but seems slow. And their guy between the pipes is nothing to write home about either.

Maine playing well as a team tonight. Tied 3-3.

Boija has been the unexpected surprise so far this season....and not in a good way. The whole "Boija is gonna steal a few games" thing is pretty much DOA at this point.

    It has this season.

Boija definitely off in dreamland this season. Barr needs to start splitting the weekend duties.

This Poirier kid seems pretty good.

Last game vs. BC at Matthews after they beat them last night....and it's a morgue. Embarrassing.

UMaine 25-26: Marques My Word: Back to the Big Time

Too bad NIL came along when it did. I would like to have seen what Barr could do recruiting wise with a more level playing field before schools started literally buying players. BC/BU/Michigan/Michigan State/Penn State are a tough bunch to overcome. On a side note.....does anyone have an...
