The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Dead on in my mind. Yeah, great to have a bunch of hard working grinders making the opponent's night miserable. But, if you're stuck in a 1-1 game in the third and nothing is happening offensively it's real nice to have an NHL draft pick who can just say "f*** it, I'll score" and actually do it.
Farm boy, too.
Klimpke is listed at 6'2" 174, bringing in some veteran size. I also like how Parks has some power play experience, 7 of his 14 goals are ppg.
No idea how to post twitter links these days but this suggests Poirier has not technically entered but is still expected to, and also mentions that he had hip surgery recently for all the conspiracy theorists out there.

Mike McMahon has a google doc for his subscribers on substack, I'm leery to link to it because it's a pay feature. If you subscribe it's linked on his site.
Looks like Poirier, Northeastern's Dylan Compton, and Vermont's Caeden Harrington are all headed to the Badgers.
Exactly. Djuracevic is 24 years old, has his degree, and has played 3 years of college hockey. It's probably now or never to chase the pro dream, there are 6 year AHL/NHL vets who are 25 years old. Tough to argue that as a 25 year old rookie you'd have a ton of upside, and most pro teams...
I dunno. I think it was a year of upheaval while everyone tries to figure out NIL/Revenue Sharing, CHL eligibility, etc. Every long term plan got balled up and thrown in the trash last January. Schools and coaches will figure it out.
There's a whole universe of players out there who don't expect a $750,000 check to show up for one year like McKenna, but also who expect to get more than a scholarship, room, and board. I'm not out here arguing for a $10,000,000 slush fund to get the ten biggest names each year. I'm also not...
