    I was at the game through 2 periods, then out. I know we are down some players, but it was men against boys last night. They've got to find a way to pick it up a couple of notches or the second half run through the Big 10 is going to be ugly.

    Hastings said in post game that he was he was wild to get back in, but medical staff thought it was best that he not expose himself to further contact in this game as a precaution. He's expected to be back next game so long as no concussion symptoms appear.

    The Badger team that played Ohio State showed up tonight. Western played that same style and they just can't counter it. Didn't help that the two guys that can move the puck are in Minnesota.

    Whatever was done/said between periods needs to be replicated repeatedly. The second period team can play with anyone, the first period team not so much.
