    I think we know for sure at this point that this team is not very good and will not earn a tournament bid without winning the conference tournament, and that is not gonna happen.

    Finley wins it in OT, but that game did not give me a warm feeling. They play that poorly defensively they will get throttled by 70% of the teams in D1 hockey.

    He was coming into the zone along the boards with a Gophers and hip checked him. As they fell his leg got pinned under him and his ankle assumed an odd angle and looked a little floppy to me. He needed two guys to help him with his leg lifted off the ice. I'd be shocked if it's not broken.

    This team plays 90% of the offensive possession time on or near the wall. They have no center ice game. They will not be scoring a lot goals until they can possess and get shots in better scoring areas. The one they got tonight was essentially luck. Wisconsin hockey: we're good for what ails ya!
