The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Hensler reminds me a little too much of the Oiler's Evan Bouchard. I'm hoping he (Hensler) takes the D end of the ice a little more seriously this coming season.
With Whitelaw it seems he might believe that the teams he's been on are holding him back, not the ceiling on his own innate desire, work ethic, and talent.
I also will shed no tears for BC losing. I really like seeing the 'all star' teams go down. We're not catching Denver anytime soon, so I'm glad that BC will remain behind us.
I'm with you. The Umass player leaned forward and extended his stick with one hand and it tapped the gopher on the front shin. The stick didn't go between his legs or hit on or near his skate. The force of that contact with one hand on the stick was very minimal and it looked to me the gopher...
A magical ending to a magical season. You don't always play your best game in these big games; sometimes you just have to overcome that and gut it out. I'm so happy for the team it ended well, congratulations to the 2025 National Champions.
If there's some super star in the portal that has serious interest in Wisconsin, I think you try to accommodate. I don't think that's likely, but if they get really competitive in the next couple of years there might be interest.
I hope Quinn stays on for two more years and has great success. He was an eye opener last year and one of our best this year. That being said, he is not a singular offensive phenom which is so outstanding that his play in the defensive end can be excused. For this team to be successful, as well...
Hating on Finley, or criticizing his play to make him as accountable as the rest of the team? Being the top talent doesn't make him immune, and his disappearing act down the stretch needs to be remedied. With that talent comes responsibility. Likely more talent around him would help, but he's...
I feel the same way. I'm not surprised that the season started so poorly. We seemed to improve a little more slowly than I thought we would until the end of the first half of the season. What disheartened me was the second half of the season. There wasn't much to hang your hat on there. I...
That may be about Laatsch, but I don't recall them being all that good with him either. Saying they were better with him is like putting whipping cream on a pile of sh**.
Knott gets interviewed post game. Most interesting comment I heard was about last year. Though they had success there were some issues going on with the team. He said, "culture is a real thing", and that there were issues that surfaced last year. He said these were not present this year, and...
I'm usually a little sad to season the season end, but not this year. This is the most painful year I can remember since I've been following this team since 1980. The missed open net to win it perfectly summarizes this year. They could always find a way to lose.
