The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Yes, I go Emily. The difference between us is I support the team constructively and honestly and recognize that the players are amateurs and the head coach is a decent guy working for a financially troubled institution run by mediocre people in a deeply regressive state.
You smear and attack...
well, just read the posts from Buford, Meathead and Elwood and imagine trying to solicit donations from those deadbeats. They are proud of NHs tradition of not properly funding UNH
Buford, it's about a PROGRAM. Separate identifiable moving parts designed for success on the ice for the team and the individual development of the players.
Can you please tell me about UNH hockey's strength program? Does the program have a dedicated coach? Tell us about the supporting...
Elwood, just curious since you are such an authority, can you list the names of the players you have recruited?
When you arrive at the number zero, please respond.
Sorry your complete lack of insight is remarkable. Just zero acknowledgement of the realities associated with being a coach of an underfunded program like UNH and competing against well funded programs like UConn, BC, BU, Providence and NU. The field is not level. UNH is ALWAYS behind because...
Revenue generating college sports is undergoing massive changes. Hockey is, too. Between the transfer portal, NIL, and the new OHL recruiting rules, the difference between the wealthy and not so wealthy schools will grow greater over time. UNH is certainly the type of school that tries to...
Meathead, stop digging. The PILOT program is it's own outrage and purely voluntary. It's a joke and typically only results in the municipalities recovering a tiny fraction of what's lost is property taxes.
It's had to train a chimp to juggle.... What's obvious about you is your ignorance. And I'm being VERY kind.
Ummm, property taxes? Private colleges don't pay them. NH residents complain about property taxes all day every day. Of course, they complain about paying for anything. Harvard...
Elwood, I love your ambition but the quality of research is only as good as the person that does it. And you’re, well, lacking.
You realize that the “private” colleges are tax exempt? Have you ever thought about what that means? Doubtful. You realize the Boston Hospitals, which are for treating...
UNH cannot fire and hire a successor to Souza unless it first does a complete evaluation of its future in HE and as a D1 hockey program. It’s a program that is far behind in many ways. Facilities , NIL funding, funding to match at least the median of HE programs are all lacking.
The New...
Bless your heart, you don't know your grammar. You realize UNH is singular? Ah, well anyways, if UNH was plural, well, "bite them in the end" would fit. "Bite it in the end" is an idiom, which doesn't suggest even for a moment that you are an idiot for now knowing it. Are you the one that was...
No league game last week. UNH is last in HE in league games played. Two HE teams have played 1 more game, while the other 8 have played anywhere from 2-4 more games. UNH plays a substantially tougher schedule than the rest of the league for the next 2 months and has pretty much no rest. BTW...
Well, I like the ne'er do well's comment. Agreed. As for you going all Seinfeld on a typo, well, yeah, that seems to match your creative capabilities. Well done!
It appears that Souza, like many other college teams, is adopting the older players generally beat younger players approach to assembling a hockey team. BTW, that's precisely the approach Curt Cignetti is following the the Indiana football miracle. This approach may become the great equalizer...
UNH's schedule really was weak during the holidays and it may come back to bite it in the end. Week schedule is bad for an NCAA at large bid if UNH has a strong second half. Additionally, allowign five weeks between league games is not wise.
Feel especially bad for Sadowski. Bogies son is heading to BC, Steve Morrows son went to UMass. It was nice to see a highly touted son of alum commit to UNH.
Good luck to all three.
I promised to leave if you left. If you and Meathead quit posting so will I. That’s what I proposed. Offer still stands.
As for my feelings being hurt, that’s not possible. I’m anonymous. How could my feelings be hurt? lol. You are pretty dumb.
Since you’re too dumb to figure it out, I post...
