The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
RPI has 1 trip to the NCAAs in almost the last 30 years. That makes it a bottom tier job in my opinion. Colgate has a new building and Union has a new one next year. Those two programs are way ahead of RPI in my mind. RPI is on par with Brown and Princeton’s of the world and even Yale right now...
After day 1 the entries are
Noah Eyre
Michael Salandra
Noah Altman
Chase Ramsey
Nate Benoit
The top 4 barely saw playing time while Benoit played in 24 games and wasn’t great after coming over from North Dakota.
Really happy to see Quinnipiac play Boston College. I assume it’s probably at least a two year deal with BC making a return trip to Hamden in the 26/27 season.
I see them playing Minnesota in Fargo with Penn State playing Western Michigan in Allentown whatever seeds they will be. If they have to flip QU/PSU in seeding than that's what will happen.
If Quinnipiac wins tomorrow they are in I believe. Ran multiple scenarios with them beating Cornell with Dartmouth/Clarkson winning the final and either ASU/North Dakota winning. Don’t get me wrong I want to see both ASU and North Dakota lose but just win and take care of our own business.
The Penn State win is definitely looking tremendous right now in a lot of scenarios. There are still scenarios where Penn State gets in and we don't but lets hope it doesn't come to that.
It’s not a guarantee if they lose to Cornell they would be in. They would be out in the doomsday scenario of both Northeastern and Arizona State/North Dakota winning their conference. But if only one of the two wins and Cornell wins the ECAC they are the last team in.
As long as Northeastern doesn’t win Hockey East or Arizona State/North Dakota/Colorado College win NCHC then Quinnipiac probably can get to the final and probably get an at large bid still. Denver can oust Colorado College today which would increase the chances to probably 91% or so. That would...
