The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
The fact that he is currently training with NHLers in Toronto is a positive sign. Lang was cautious in his comments that it will be a process in building him up. Doc can weigh in on the medicine, but at this point the repair had been made -- I'd think the work now and moving forward is largely...
From NZ blurbs on his style of play: " The second-round pick by Saginaw in the OHL Draft this past month is a serious prospect in that he has a long, athletic frame, he’s mobile and can jump up and join the rush or play a stout defensive game. Expansive skill set for his age and can run a...
Certainly no guarantees, and Lang was cautious in his expectations at least for this year. But the upside is there if the hip holds up.... The D will take its lumps this year no doubt, so having Jovanovic on board isn't much of a risk in my view.
Lots of great insights...including the addition of dman Matt Jovanovic ...former N. Dame commit. Toronto kid 6'2 200, who is 2 plus years off ice due to major hip injury. Now training/skating with NHLers in Toronto with Mark Giordano coaching him....who vouched for the kid in talking with Lang.
Now if they could add the new coach's name to the website and perhaps add a new roster.....we'll be all set. I will be interested to see if RPI's sweaters this season incorporate the new logo. Given the lead time on those orders, they'd have needed to supply that artwork to the manufacturer...
Rensselaer County and the City of Troy are partnering with help from the NY Rangers in a youth hockey intiative at the newly refurbished Knickerbacker rink in Lansingburgh. Press conference tomorrow. If RPI is not a part of this event and effort it will be an epic fail.... fingers crossed...
As I mentioned earlier, it's not that Allain is gone, but it's the timing of the announcement that is curious, with players either already on campus or soon to be.
The timing of the announcement is what makes me wonder. If he'd simply had enough I would think he'd have announced in the Spring after the season. But in any event the interim gets a crack at the helm, which may have been his intent all along....time will tell
Can't disagree Doc....if you haven't seen it, you should google the video of her at the shooting range...oof....my heart be still! Let's just say she hits what she aims at !! LOL
No idea. I do know that a friend just stopped by the HFH box office this morning to attempt to commit commerce, only to find it closed. Ha ha
My season ticket tradition is to wait as long as possible for them to receive my money....as the cost benefit has been sorely lacking from the fan...
And to make it even harder for the Faithful to endure, our crosstown rivals will be skating in a brand new barn this fall in a lovely canal side setting with restaurants, bars and yes, a casino, that will ONLY help their attendance and program as a whole. Meanwhile, we can't even invest in a...
