The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Agreed. He was a bit more measured in his comments in WylanD's show yesterday. I thought his Sat night comments were a wee bit dire, seeing as how it was only league game #2...but I understand he was sending a message. As you stated, it will be interesting to see how the team responds.
I didn't see the Saturday game, but Friday night RPI could not win a faceoff... I seem to recall our F/O rate was OK overall in the early going.
I keep reminding myself and will do so here as well, that this is a tear down to the studs rebuild. We will taking our lumps in 25-26. It would...
Good insights on both counts. If the Board had any "stones" they would've asked Harris be the grim reaper and make cuts before his departure... that is often how the hard news is presented. Make the gal or guy leaving the helm be the hatchet person on the way out,....hat way the replacement...

Just a final thought on the HFH project and major donor fundraising. St. Thomas Univ. will open its new hockey and basketball arena this weekend. Made possible in large part due to a whopping $75 million donation from Lee & Penny Anderson. With the right leadership and fundraising...
I don't believe that is the intent. They will likely add something to the front end, similar to what others have done....Messa/Achilles, and I believe U. of Minnesota has a campaign going for their Williams Arena basketball barn,.....which is 20 years older than HFH. Heck, Matthews Arena (the...
I don't make the news, I just report it....LOL. Well. we're all gonna find out the answer -- if and when they announce who it is. If Marty is leaning into this as much as everyone says that he is (Bowers, Lang, etc.) then he will get it done. The guy was a rain maker at MIT...
You are quite correct. It is a long term trend.... In no particular order these factors weigh heavily:
- Shrinking northeast population: Sustained outward migration from northeastern states....taking their family wealth with them.
- The families that remain in the northeast are having...
As Lang said, he inherited the schedule and ideally he'd have spread these games out a bit. But he loves the competition and understands the lessons they provide...
