The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
So many teams are bunched together in the standings. Seems every game has both playoff atmosphere and implications.
Our team has worked hard/played hard this season and it's great to be playing very meaningful games. Keep it going!
It's February. Another top team's in town. LET'S GO RED...
Our Red scores a very nice home win against a ranked Cornell squad... but there is no rest tonight because a resurgent Colgate team's coming to HFH.
While we were blanking Cornell, Colgate was scoring three third period goals to snach one from Union, 4-2. They're putting things together... so...
Big bad BU comes to town... and they tell us we don't have enough numbers today. Not enough numbers? How about something special happening on 12/13/14? (Players matter more than numbers... pass it on.)
Quinnipiac comes a bobbin' and a weavin' into Troy after beating Union, 4-3. Quinny, a dangerous team who has had their way with us over the last few years, beat Union while scoring last-minute goals in the first and third periods. Three of their goals came on the power play. Ouch.
But for...
Dartmouth comes to town, fresh off an OT win over Union at the Salt Dome. You have to credit the Green... down 3-0 to Union late in the second and they erupt for four goals to claim the game.
You've go to respect Dartmouth... GO, RED! Play your game and take care of home ice. Beat Dartmouth!
Sure, there's a lot of Olympic action going on but by 7 pm on Friday night, RPI will host SLU and that game will hold my undivided attention. The Larries are in town and each of the remaining regular season games has playoff implications.
RPI's been playing solid hockey for a month now...
It's Ithaca on a Saturday night. What else is there to do? Drop the puck already.
We had a good night in Hamilton, taking a road point from Colgate with a goal in the 59th minute. While we came really close to putting in another and we had some very good chances in OT, we dodged a 1-0 loss...
