The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
College Selects need a regulation Davos win by fewer than three goals, unless it's 3-0 or 4-1.
If that happens, the Selects win their group. They'd then get a bye into the Semis on Tuesday.
Otherwise, they'll finish 2nd and play against IFK Helsinki tomorrow evening.
Davos just scored to go...
"Now isn't the time to shift further left. Have you seen the results in all of the recent elections? Surely, we need to appeal to the centrists and anti-Trump republicans. That's where democrats can find their most vital voters" - Democratic leadership, likely
Just got my tickets assigned to me. I'll be in the corner for the US/Germany game - not sure yet who attacks what end. For the US/Denmark game I'll be either along the blue line or slightly in the zone about 15 rows up but they have a seat numbered 5A, so that doesn't make me feel super good...
I'd have to imagine they'd keep it in Europe even if that ends up being in Prague or some other venue of similar size.
All European leagues are on a break as well so they have some options.
By train it's faster to get to Bern from Milan than it is to get to Cortino or any of the other non-skating facilities in Italy.
Turin would likely be ideal because it's a 45+ minute train ride from Milan so people don't need to switch their accommodations - but good luck getting 16,000 people...
From the most recent thing I've seen, the ice will be ready end of December for testing in January.
There's no plan B but fortunately all my travel tickets are currently refundable so just gotta see where they end up. I would think Switzerland is first option but I'd love for it to get moved...
I didn't even fully read the response from Klobuchar but then I saw Kepler's post and was so confused why he was mansplaining contacting your congressional reps when that's literally what she did.
I've gotta say, the new TSA Precheck Touchless has been great on this trip to the US.
I've got Global Entry, so clearing customs is easy. Except for the asinine thing the US does where you need to recheck your bag and then go through security.
But, with the new Touchless, it's just like...
Honestly, is that really a negative thing? These teams play friendlies in a rowdier crowd than anything they'll experience in the US.
And a midday west coast game is normally when they're kicking off in Europe anyway.
I'm literally sitting in a window seat about to take off for God's country 🤮
If it's over an hour, I'll take window every time to either have an extra headrest for sleeping or to watch nature.
Anyone who knows Seattle well have a recommendation for watching 2nd Bundesliga games?
My team, Fürth, plays at 11:30 PST on a Saturday in late November, and all 2BL games are now on ESPN+.
I've got about 24 hours in Seattle, so before catching a Thunderbirds game, I'd like to go watch Fürth on...
I booked tickets to two US men's hockey games in Milano in February and the ticketing is so weird. I paid for "Group A" which is the most expensive of the three but I won't actually know which section or row my seat is until it's assigned in December.
I had to include my nationality and...
