The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Yes, this is the place for NESCAC Hockey. Which current hockey coach, since they just got a new head coach last year?
Ceglarski I know nothing about, but he managed get a better record than Sinclair ever did, so I'm willing to cut him some slack.
Middlebury Women's hockey program celebrates 50 years this year.

Congratulations to Wilkes on their first ever NCAA tournament appearance. That wasn't as much of a shellacking as I was led to expect. Wilkes hung in there strong with two goal in the third period to make it a one goal game. Whomever they end up playing next year is in for a challenge.
Congratulations to the Hamilton Continentals on their win of the NESCAC championship, their first ever. And on the upset win over NEC Nor'easters on Saturday. Best of luck against Curry next weekend.
This sounds to me like you are always coming into the forums using the "new posts" option. This shows only the new posts in order of their posting.
The alternative is to go through the categories > forum > threads listing :

Middlebury falls in the second overtime to the Continentals 3-2, but still end the season with an overall winning record.
The Jumbos manage to disassemble the Colby mules 6-2. So the final tomorrow will be Hamilton vs Tufts. I'm not really sure who will win that one.
And Plymouth state wins this with 13:06 left in the 4th overtime. The Panthers take their first conference championship in the first MASCAC championship.
https://nescac.com/documents/2020/7/29/ih_w_.pdf -> The previous longest D3 women's games were the ones from NESCAC :
126:35 - Middlebury def. Hamilton, 3-2 (4OT) - QF, 2/28/15
123:49 - Trinity def. Middlebury, 2-1 (4OT) - SF, 3/6/10
So this game at 128:06 is almost certainly qualifies. I know...
It's fine. I wanted to see how many of the games I was going to be able to catch (mostly on streaming services). So now I can start looking them up as a note to self to see where they are available.
I was there. Yea, I don't know what happened exactly. Midd was up 3-2 at the start of the period.
Amherst was playing fast all night long and it looked like they just tired Midd out. Two goals on the 4-on-4 play and a really nice blue line snipe were what set Midd on their heels. Despite...
Well, Midd manages to gather 4 points this weekend, keeping up their lose on the road / win at home record intact. This puts them tied for 5th place with Tufts, with Amherst/Williams tied for 7th, and Trinity/Bowdoin tied for 2nd.
Tufts holds the tie-breakers, so technically 5th, and Midd in...
This isn't unusual for the NESCAC. I clearly remember this being a standard practice almost every year. Watching teams jump or fall 4-6 spots in the standings based upon a split weekend was always amusing. Not knowing the final make up of the NESCAC Tournament until the Monday after the final...
This weekend will be an interesting one. Hamilton is facing off against Trinity for the second time, who is their only NESCAC loss. Can Trinity break the Hamilton 7 game win streak.
The Tufts / Middlebury isn't so much as a rivalry as Tufts seems to pull out the stops to win games against two...
Well, The Panther's opening game with a 5-0 drubbing of the Polar Bears was an interesting start to the season. They were playing better than I've seen them do so in more than a decade.
And the Conn College 4-2 win over perennial power house Trinity feeds the speculation. This will be an...
