The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
The competition is pathetic…. Doesn’t bode well for the women’s game let alone PWHL expansion to 12 teams.
The seats may fill but the product will suffer greatly.
Just go back to the National Championship… the falling on the puck happened at 0:59… the challenge at 18.9 and the clock was CORRECTLY not set back to the time of the infraction.
In NCAA the only clock reset happens if it was goal scored and not observed by the numbnuts on the ice.
So far the games for the US have been like playing in a U19 tournament. The competition is so weak that it’s embarrassing.
It’s not saying much for the future of the Women’s game and the thought of the PWHL expanding by 4 teams is very troubling…the talent is not there. Numbers yes, talent NO...
Canada has been completely embarrassed the last 6 months by the USA.
They are NOT in a good place as there current team is too old and their pipeline is nothing to shout about. Despite belief Primerano is NOT the savior in waiting.
It was a complete ruse to get more rest… call timeout and you get a minute…. Challenge a phantom situation and with the incompetent officials you get at least 3 minutes if not more… you lose your timeout that you were going to use anyway and gain the additional rest
Stewart appears to be much more agile and “Athletic” than Mcnaughton.
The much smaller frame I’m sure helps in that optic.
Also, she seems more confident with her
stickwork when handling the puck.
So far so good overall.
It’s beyond you wildest imaginations of a joke.
Complete embarrassment to the University and shows their total lack of respect for Women’s hockey.
Don’t go blah blah blahing about “We love it”, “It defines us” “We don’t care about it”
The place is an embarassment !
