    They Shoot Horses, Don’t They? Excellent performances all around. Well deserved Oscar for Gig Young. Only downside is the flash forward scenes essentially giving away the ending. And it was sad finding out this wasn’t some Great Depression era Squid Games, it was based on actual marathons.

    It’s not the break as much as the calendar doesn’t work some years to get 13 games. If Thanksgiving falls the last week it allows FCS 12 games, but normally they’ve been playing 11. Add in Army/Navy and it gets more complicated. But I think ESPN double dipping is less them trying to monopolize...

    I was astounded when I learned that Wisconsin let’s people drink underage as long as they're with a parent. I mean, on the one hand, that is a good way to introduce people without hiding it and would theoretically mean less binging, but it’s wild that there’s not technically a minimum to that law.

    It won’t happen because the NY6 bowls negotiated a way to be involved every year, but I would like to see the top four seeds get a home game and then don’t do bowls until the semis. It would’ve been more fun to see Miami playing in the snow in Columbus last night.
