The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
So UNH is going to practice at the Everett Arena on Sunday. I get the marketing angle to this, but maybe have one in Durham where most of the attendance comes from?
I am sure the guys are looking forward to the old and cold barrel arena across Route 4
Going to post at this time so it fits Klinefelters hours of operation
The new poll has UNH well out of cracking the top 20. Behind the powerhouse Augustana.
I’m not saying they are a top 20 team but call into legitimacy of the poll. Three straight against ranked teams with 2 away at Maine...
That’s called market rate for an FBS school where football isn’t the top sport. This isn’t Texas, football isn’t big. That’s why it’s not a $1m a year job.
What are you taking about! He has a brand new stadium and facilities and hasn’t had any sort of great success. It’s the same division for football. This is the argument you are making for hockey that they need facilities. Well that didn’t work for football.
Neutral site would be fun but SNHU is worse than watching a game at the YMCA in Rochester. The "scoreboard" is so beyond outdated and from what we saw in the regionals the ice is bad. Good news is this is on a Sunday at 4 with a big Pats/Bills game at 1 so it will be empty.
Anyone heading down to Bentley tomorrow for the game? Turkey hangover for the guys or do they squeak out a win? Last game without Lavin's hopefully and some momentum for next weekend's trip north.
Is six of one half dozen of the other what they call a baker's dozen?
Can you please provide the hours at which the message board is open for comment? I was not aware there were restrictions on when you could post. Nor were you the keeper of my time
Can you please stop applying logic to this board. Klinefelter will not understand.
The problem is that the president has zero concern for the team hence AD Rich gets no heat. My guess is that at the end of the day, the P&L for hockey looks ok with tickets (attendance is not the same)...
It is that twisted chromosome he can't shake. He is a talented kid, but did not fit. not a knock on anyone really, sometimes personalities just don't meld together.
Klinefelter, you basically seem like you are in self-defense mode. He has been here for 10 years, so this is not a new trend. It was his recruiting after leaving Yukon and being given the controls of the team post Umile. Maybe the chicken and egg question is answered. the chicken started...
100% agree. Other programs have been successful without the shiny new car in the parking lot. This is a systemic issue with the AD, coach, and coaching style.
