The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
UNH only 1 point behind UVM for 10th place in HEA, and with a game in hand! Moreover, UNH only 4 points behind UML for 9th place, with two games in hand! Why so glum? Got ‘em right where we want ‘em!
How about 2022/23 when Muszelik got into 13 games and Fessenden 23?
But, agreed in general, as need to go back pre-DT (Ty Rone) before that.
Meanwhile, maybe Whale can be a red shirt this season and come back next season as he has played in only three games. Mike Robinson played in six games...
So, how many of our 58 goals (on pace for the fewest goals in a season ever) were scored off a face off dish? Gagnon’s second line has somewhere between 15 and 20 goals on the season (not sure how many goals scored by replacements for Lavins when injured). First line has 23 goals.
Probably Ty Conklin recruited Tyler Muszelik and TY Taylor, maybe because of their first names? The former might be an elite goaltender now that he is playing for the powerhouse Yukon Huskies and a genius head coach, but Muszelik sure was not very elite during his two seasons in net with the...
UNH goalie coaches:
2012/13-2017/18 — Mike Buckley
2018/19 — Brian Foster
2019/20-2022/23 — Ty Conklin
2023/24-2024-25 — ??
2025/26 — Sean Maguire
So, now let’s list the elite goalies that they recruited to UNH over the past decade. Maybe Ty Conklin recruited Jakob Hellsten? Any others?
I had a ticket for a seat at the AHA finals game at Hart Rink, but we did not arrive early enough to claims our seats so were part of the additional 800 standing (only 1290 seats). Obviously, the Holy Cross fire marshal looked the other way on that one. Game should have been played at the DCU...
Well, at least we scored first so that part of my post held up. And happy to be taken out to the woodshed by the team for the rest of the negativity in my post. A sweep this weekend would do wonders for improving my outlook for this season.
I think that if BU scores first, the Terriors win.
I think that the best chance for Chauvette to steal a game will be against UMassy-Wassy, but even a chance of one win the remainder of the season for our team locked into the basement is remote. I am sorry to be so pessimistic about UNH...
Yup, 4 assists for Conmy. Why cannot we get playmakers like dat?
I am not sure how much Conmy did 5+ minutes into the third period to draw Ryder Ritchie’s stupid cross-check of Conmy into the boards leading to Gasseau’s goal 4 seconds later to put the game out of reach at 4-1, but hoping that...
I agree with FlagUp17, JB, nice AI sleuthing. My guess is that Jeff Jackson must be one of those data points, as he began his head coaching career at Lake Superior State in 1990 and won Natty’s in 1992 and 1994 before leaving for Notre Dame (aka NICC) in 2005 where he reached four FF’s, two NC...
I have posted the same many times on our threads over the past few years, FlagUp17. The dictionary definition for mediocrity is based on the word mediocre, adj, of moderate quality, ordinary, average. In hockey those words should translate to a roughly even number of wins and losses, a 0.500...
I wanna know the mark up on da clam chowdah, the only concession in which I have participated at da Whitt? Compared to the chowdah sold at lift-served ski areas, it seems too reasonably priced.
I think that it is unlikely that any AD fires an assistant coach unless the head coach makes the request, which in the UNH case I think is also unlikely.
Unfortunately, MS7 had early success this season by achieving double-digit wins, which will be enough to secure his long-term tenure.,
