Well after that stunningly awful showing by our football team, I'm ready for a our suddenly number one in the PWR hockey team. Last nights affair was the very definition of chippy. Will be interesting see how feisty these two are tonight. Need a win boys, LET'S GO CATS!!!

Winner goes to the Gahden, loser plays golf, unless the loser is BU who will go to the NCAA's regardless of today's outcome. Got all that? Because there will be a quiz later today. LET'S GO CATS!!

Nice win for the Cats last night, and that thanks to DeSmith as he stood on his head through the second and third periods. Nice to have a wall in net, but we still need a better overall effort. With the win last night the Cats cemented their spot in the HE playoffs, now they are just playing for...
Last time these teams met, I was actually at the game. UNH won that night 2-1, Merrimack won the next night in Durham so this is the rubber match for this seasons series. UNH is coming off a 3-2 win over Northeastern last night and Merrimack is stinging after a 3-0 loss to now first place...
Nice win for the Cats yesterday and they go for a much needed sweep at the Coffin tonight. No time now for the Wildcats to screw around as every point matters if they hope to make the HE playoffs. Hopefully they can get an early lead like last night, and let DeSmith bring them home. Hope you all...
Little late night hockey from Fairbanks. Nice win for the Nanooks last night, and they try to pull off the sweep tonight. I expect a better performance from the Irish tonight though.
Pre-game show is on now. UNH looked to be on their way to a win last night, as they took a 3-2 lead with about 4 minutes left in regulation. However, the Cats got called for a penalty with 3 minutes left and BC took advantage to tie it, and then scored with 51 seconds left to win it. Lousy way...
Wow, how times have changed. End of one and this thread hasn't been started yet? Anyways, Hayes has his fifth of the year 35 seconds in to give the Eagles a 1-0 lead after a period.

LET'S GO CATS!!
UNH won the first meeting 5-0 a few weeks ago. This weekend they complete the season series with a home and home. UNH needs the win and the 2 HE points so that they don't keep slipping further and further back. That being said the points are just as big for UML. Let the weekend begin :).
Dean...
Both teams coming off wins last night. If there's such a thing as a huge game in November this one might be it. Last time these two met, BU won 5-0. Since then they've really gone in different directions. UNH lost 3 more before embarking on their current 7 game unbeaten streak which includes 5...
Well this should be a fun one tonight. Very nice to see Lowell experiencing a resurgence in the early goings this year. Gotta figure the Riverhawks are feeling pretty good after their sweep at Orono last weekend. UNH snatched a tie from the jaws of victory at Burlington in a game they should...
Well I gave up on the football team as they are losing 49-21 in the third at Towson. So I figured I'd get the thread started early tonight. UNH comes in riding a 4 game winning streak after going winless in their first 5 to start the year. UVM has only one win on the year, that against...
