Giving up thirteen goals this weekend was not "lucky" for Gate. Goalies left hanging out to dry time after time ! Something is definitely broken, I just don't get it !
The Union announcers were so biased, hard to listen to. There are no excuses to allow seven goals. Wonder why coach didn't pull Dyck after four or five goals, I would have.
Oh well, last weekend was the good Gate team and last night...arghhhh !
Just noticed in the small chance of a home ice bye. Princeton has a brutal schedule, Q-Pac two games, Colgate and Cornell,
then Harvard and Dartmouth. Harvard has an easier schedule but play four games away from home. Ya never know !
I was recently told by someone with credibility that the Gate players love playing at Lynah, and I always thought they hated it because of the intimidation etc. This really surprised me !
I'm not so sure about that Red ! Cornell usually beats us with physicality, They weren't able to do that last weekend as Gate has some very big players this year. Colgate is faster and I think more talented than your team. Major #9 is your exception, he's phenominal ! Is he a Bruins draft pick ?
I always thought Gate benefitted more from teams playing against Cornell first. Cornell is normally more physical, I think Gate was actually the more physical team this weekend !
We gave the #8 team in the country all they could handle both games. Either team could have swept, so I guess a split was fair ! The NCAA put up a reel of the winning goal on Facebook, watched it about ten times, Nagle undresses the Cornell defenseman and gets the Cornell goalie to commit going...
Kepler, I see your point but, he also could have stopped instead of continuing thru the crease. I'd like to read the rulebook to see what it says. I was holding my breath waiting for the call.
Cornell won the first two periods, we were all over them in the third. I think the shots at one point in the third were 19-5 in favor of Colgate. We made it 3-2 but Cornell tightened up the last five minutes, fourth goal killer then open netter. "If" we could play tonight like we did in the...
