The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Tape is great for sure but no substitute for seeing a player in person. By setting up this showcase he got a jump on relationship part of recruiting part. Eric is a leader and proactive. Happy Easter/Passover RPI 82
You underestimate the relationships that Eric built putting this thing together. I agree with Jericho that Eric being the brainchild of the showcase is a big plus.
Great idea. The Albany County facility is right next to the airport and ton of hotels on Wolf Rd. I know you may be partial to the Knick in the Burgh though ;)
Haggerty, Zaliewski, Reilly, Foss, Bergin, Kasdorf, York, Burgess. Dave never recruited a kid in that caliber. Cupboard is bare and you can thank Dave. The great Nolan Graham recruited Babs when he was 15. Dave couldn't hold him.
I'm actually glad it's going down to the studs. I guess what I'm getting at is those spots if recruited properly could have been occupied by D1 level players. For context, Reilly, Burgess stayed, cupboard was not bare...thanks Dave!
If I recall correctly didn't he basically let go all of the soph class last summer. I don't believe these two were in it. They honored scholarships though. Thanks Dave!
Build a new barn then. Don't sink 40 million in HFH. I give Marty and Kristie credit but Eric was an easy hire. Next part is going be much harder re : resources.
You and I have been on the Kirk for Coach train for two years but at this moment of time, I believe Eric is the right choice. Knows the portal and can recruit for a niche program. One last word bro..covid...lol Regarding rebuild vs. Start up...Dave was an unmitigated disaster. Can't stress...
