The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
As much as you are a pain on the UNH strings, this is very funny Sparkman. Love it. We certainly hope Maine goes on a winning streak to aide in boosting our NPI. Go Black Bears!!!
Just to keep the record level. MS7 had 2 stops as an assistant prior to being handed the keys to the car at UNH. He was an assistant at Brown for 2 years (went to the ECAC conference finals in 2013) and then worked as an assistant at UConn for 2 years under Cavanaugh during their transition from...
Great win and weekend for this young group. They literally sucked the energy out of that building and locker room. The team has an identity and is developing chemistry. I see a renewed fire in MS7 (coaching after every stop in play). The momentum is building!! This is going to be a fun ride :)...
Another gutsy win by the boys last night. The defensive structure has become our team identity for sure. KC was solid. Great shot by Cam. Lovin the fight in this group. Go Cats!!
This is amazing news. He may be rusty, but during the scrimmage with Maine in Brunswick he was easily the best player on the ice. It will be good to have him back. Assuming he will land on the second line with Leclerc and Oliver.
Heading to Orono on Saturday and staying at the Black Bear Inn to watch the Cats stymie Maine (please save the didn't age well comments later). Happy Friday's game is on NESN (I hate ESPN streaming). Can't wait to see the Renovations at Alfond. Looking for good food suggestions between Bangor...
Solid win for the Cats last night. Our top end Def pairing is looking very good (both freshman), and the Newcombe kid is on a roll (gotta love his story). I hope Felix is ok. We have a little momentum going into Orono. Can't wait to see the reno up there. Go Blue!!
Gutsy win by the boys last night. Truthfully, I felt it was over after the shorthanded goal by CT in the second to make it 3-1. Nice to see Newcombe shine. My guess is MS7 will rotate the goalies during back-to-back moving forward. They cleaned up the penalties (comes from coaching) and continue...
You have a right to brag. UCONN is dam good this year, and UNH is a work in progress with a group of kids that are fun to root for! Muszelik was very good. We out shot them 17-4 in the second and several were one on ones in front and we only scored 1 goal. Pretty much a must win tomorrow and I...
I agree with Chuck on the split; however, CT should be top 4 in Hockey East this year (23 wins last year, Hockey East and Regional Finals with most key players back). Winning tonight would be a huge jolt for the boys for their trip to Toscano on Saturday. We need to slow down Muldowney.
Sorry to hear Scott. I see things a bit differently. I would like to see a little more in game adjustments for sure, however we have not had the easiest schedule and we were without, arguably, our 2 best players this weekend. FWIW this is a very young team, particularly on defense. Our offensive...
