RPI 2025 Off-Season: Help Is On the Way

My thoughts too lol. I was optimistic we could get him. Gavars is committed to Minnesota State now, so not getting either of the two good Latvian players in the portal unfortunately

RPI 2025 Off-Season: Help Is On the Way

The article didn't mention any incoming recruits by name. As far as we know, both are still committed

RPI 2025 Off-Season: Help Is On the Way

I said "was" because their season is over now. I agree overall the forward recruits aren't good; I just think calling it totally bare is harsh and don't agree with the assessment of Ziliotto. He's a good player.

    RPI Recruit Thread 2024-2025

I hope we recruit the CHL a lot for the future years

RPI 2025 Off-Season: Help Is On the Way

I like our recruits on the blue line for the most part. I don't love the forwards but think you're being a bit harsh on them. Ziliotto was playing key minutes in the OHL; he's nowhere near borderline D1 level. Lariviere is solid but raw due to his size. It definitely drops off after that though...

RPI 2025 Off-Season: Help Is On the Way

I wouldn't say it's bare. Lemieux, Kyrkostas, Krawchuk are very good. Ziliotto, Hilditch, Adrian, and Klassek are also good. I would say it lacks depth after that, particularly at forward

RPI 2025 Off-Season: Help Is On the Way

Met Murls in STL yesterday at the bar. Was a lot of fun drinking and chatting with him. He's really excited for Lang

RPI 2025 Off-Season: Help Is On the Way

Can report that Lange and Zirnis are being retained per sources. Just one assistant spot to fill

RPI 2025 Off-Season: Help Is On the Way

Beats me. Either taking their sweet time or got the new coach to agree to keep it a military secret until RPI announces it themselves

RPI 2025 Off-Season: Help Is On the Way

I wouldn't imagine they host the press conference today but I do think we've gotta be hearing who it is today. One way or another

RPI 2025 Off-Season: Help Is On the Way

Murley said on the podcast at noon that RPI is at the finish line, and there will be a press conference on Monday or Tuesday. I wasn't expecting any official announcement today, but the offer will definitely go out soon, today or tomorrow, if they're announcing early next week. Once the offer...

Don't put that evil out there! Lang! Lang! Lang!

RPI 2025 Off-Season: Help Is On the Way

If Zirnis stays on as an assistant, Felikss Gavars and Patriks Berzins are good options in the portal

Thought he would go to a better program than that honestly

RPI 2025 Off-Season: Help Is On the Way

Ken Schott is now reporting that Jason Tapp and Chris Brooks from Clarkson are finalists. He majorly effed up his report the first time around. There's no way that they have 5 finalists. Would bet money that either Jewell and/or Doyle isn't a finalist. A list of Lang, Tapp, and Brooks is much...
