The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
those schedules cant be right. according to those schedules both potsdam and canton are playing at elmira nov 7th and naz nov 8th. no one schedules 2 games in one day, either those are placeholders/some sort of tourney is happening or multiple people have made a massive oopsie. the north country...
I'm slightly confused the nexus center is the permanent rink for the Utica women's hockey team. It's literally called the Utica University nexus center. Is that not a campus site?? When they say campus site does it explicitly say it has to be the men's team site?? It makes perfect sense to me...
I was more focusing on the actual main ice playing surface and the seats/stands surrounding it but I certainly don't disagree with anything u said about all the other stuff
Also played box lacrosse at the nexus center lol very nice arena (take advantage of the Utica club lounge you'll thank me later) if the seats were navy blue instead of black you'd almost mistake it for the ira at Geneseo that's how similar they are
"The cooler" doesn't do it justice. I call it the freezer. It's essentially an ODR. I played box lax there over the summer the away locker rooms look like prison showers and are tiny. They also have maybe 50 parking spots in that lot and only 1 way in or out. 90% of youth hockey rinks are better...
Just put it in placid every year. all the moving around stuff causes too many headaches. u can have potsdam, canton, platty, hell i dont care if paul smith colleges hosts it have them rotate so admin will have plenty of experience running it but they dont have to do it every year. maybe the...
And with that last loss it's the end of an era for the SUNYAC welcome Hobart and Skidmore and congrats to Hobart on their 25-26 SUNYAC championship. Let's just hope Taylor doesn't pull another 2 0.950 goalies out of nowhere again after next year cause I highly doubt anyone wants to deal with...
when does the mascas get their autobid next year or 2 years from now? if leaving out oz was bad this year with at 4 large bids i can only imagine who gets screwed over when it goes down to 3 at large bids
Not sure how much athletic scholarships the fringe d1 guys get (I would imagine not much) But those d3 "merit" scholarships (that athletes totally dont get preference on) do give them a leg up on the clubs who often charge yearly dues in the 4 digit range (oswegos club team is like 3k a year i...
So it's settled then fish vs nubby as the main card with Russ and pioneer as the lower card Utica aud parking lot 5pm next Saturday be there of be square. Losers get thrown in the nearby Erie canal
Yes there should be a link on Hamilton's schedule. They're broadcast kinda sucks though because its one camera in a corner so trying to see the far side is like finding a needle in a haystack
I also feel home losses are weighed far too heavily. Any smart coach would schedule ranked teams away because the win helps out so much and the loss doesn't hurt as much whereas home games doesn't have as much reward for a win and a much larger penalty for a loss. If teams are willing to lose...
I never thought that this team out of all of them would win a SUNYAC yet here we are. You know it's a great season when Platty fans are complaing on facebook about "Oswego shit fans" shame about the women's though they really deserved it and they got the short end of the shaft
