The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Some rambling thoughts...
Too bad NU had to lose in a shoot out last night...echoing the hockey pundits. Maybe another 5 min OT and then shootout for big events like the Beanpot. But I suppose that would mess up the works. My money's on the Eagles for the 'Pot.
Any word on Marty? Imagine MS7...
aww...that makes me sad! I remember my husband's dad who was so thrilled in 2004 when the Sox finally did it...UNH's time in that spotlight had it's chance...
doubt seriously it will come again..and I almost extend that to a trip to the Garden...sighhhh
I am so terribly sorry to hear of the loss of your son...there are no words. Thank you so much for your uplifting, hopeful post about the team and how
sometimes you just have to push through...again, my heart goes out to you and your wife...will keep you in my prayers...I've seen alot of UNH...
Once again we start out doing well, the roster regardless of who's on it seems to rise to the occasion, then, 'somehow' it all falls apart. This isn't on the players if this is a common recurrence season after season...OR...and this is prob true, UNH isn't that fond of making necessary...
yes, haven't won at the Agannis since the 2013/14 season. Was at that game. Was supposed to be the Jack Parker retirement game but got snowed out. Returned that Monday to see UNH win. I believe we have had 1 tie in there after, but that's it. I do remember a few W's at the 'whitt...maybe the...
Marty is a warrior (no pun intended) ..gives his all every shift. We will prob lose him like I said..going back on the ice might not have been the best move but..he is a difference maker out there.
Good luck the rest of the way!
We'll take it! Gutsy W come from behind after a 2 goal lead...winning the shoot out. Broke a 5 game losing streak...Congrats 'Cats!
Hope Marty is ok...IMHO never should've come back on the ice.
Onto the Friars...
Mr. HR thinks UNH needs more of guys like him, for his physicality, not dumb penalties...I think that is what stymied UNH last night. We rarely got more than a sniff at the goal when we were in the attacking zone. Puck turned over again and again. Sitting where we were when UNH was in the zone...
Zero chance of Jimmy Torts taking the reigns..obviously 102-127-27 is acceptable to UNH athletics...
Winning is not everything but it puts butts in the seats...give fans something to look forward to like a meaningful post season run.
Looking forward to see who is there tonight alumni wise...
