The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Looking at this game, if River Falls can find someone better than O'Kane in net they may end up hosting and winning in 2026 too...Niccum, Jones, Lavergne and Goodreau look like they could step up and replace enough of Olsen's offense to make them the favorites still...
Augsburg was doing a good job keeping it in their attacking zone after taking the lead until that penalty call. Can't give a high powered offense that much time on attack.
This Falcons team reminds me of the 2015-16 Cardinal team that beat UWRF for the natty. The highlight were their scorers in...
Plattsburgh forwards Ava Mattaliano and Emma McLean both entered the portal today. Mattaliano will have 2 seasons remaining and McLean one.
Mattaliano was a middle six forward for most of last season but found herself a healthy scratch most of this year. To be honest I was puzzled by her...
Alyssa Xu leads the way with two goals as Amherst advances to the championship game with a 3-1 (ENG) won over NESCAC rival Middlebury.
They await the winner of top seed Augsburg vs host and defending champions UW-River Falls at 8PM Eastern/7PM Central
Congrats to UWRF's Bailey Olsen on winning the 2025 Laura Hurd Award.
The Falcons have 3 of 4 post-Covid winners of the DIII WIH award given to the player of the year, and River Falls joins Middlebury and Plattsburgh's tie for 4 Laura Hurd Award winning players in program history.
My 2nd gripe is that Third Team East had two goalies and Chloe Lewis had a better year than both. She had one of the lowest GAA in DIII and no honors at all conference or AHCA and its bs
The editors of Gopherpucklive.com have visibility into the portal somehow and they've published the players in the portal for all 4 leagues (D1 men, D1 women, DIII men, DIII women)
I think you all might enjoy this Toronto Sceptres TikTok of Emma Maltais (OSU '23) making good on a bet she lost to Sceptres teammate Daryl Watts

He's only giving up control if he really was going to give it to the first player to raise their hand. If the worst shot on the team was the first with her hand up do you really think he would have picked them? It was a great tactic to see who was in the right place mentally for that moment but...
D3HN is reporting that Augsburg and Amherst will receive the men's and women's home locker rooms as the top seed. Also means Augsburg will get the home bench against host UWRF
One of her backups at Bishop Kearney is starting for my DIII alma mater, would be happy to make a trade if you guys are that unhappy and think your coach recruited the wrong goalie 😉
My understanding is there is a greater emphasis on there being a championship experience/atmosphere for the student-athletes in these post-Covid years. Based on @Lord_Zubin 's description (I haven't been to The Cooler personally) I don't think the committee will be looking to Hobart to host...
Curry chose not to bid because they didn't feel they could provide a championship caliber student athlete experience, and even the Nexus would outdo Hobart's open-air rink if they bid. I don't know if Geneseo bid but if they did their proposal was deemed to be judged inferior.
This tracks with what I'm hearing which is that the MASL indoor soccer can't move their games and all three games will be at the Nexus Center at the Utica Memorial Auditorium.
