The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Adrian didn't play their leading scorer or starting goalie from last season despite both being on the roster...I think Augsburg likely wins either way but it's noteable that they would go without them for their season opener against a ranked foe.
Gusties defeat SNC 3-2.
St. John's Fisher beats Neumann 2-1 in their program opener.
Buff State defeats King's 9-1
Plymouth State 2 - Salem State 0
WNEU 3 - Worcester State 1
Elmira 2 - Salve Regina 0
Canton 3 - Stevenson 1, with a short handed goal opening scoring.
Marion defeats Beloit 5-2
UNE overcomes conceding the...
Plattsburgh shuts out Norwich 3-0 (ENG). 2 goals from Morris and one from Kasprzak, meaning all three goals from the 2nd line which is the only full holdover line combo from last season. The first year duo of Keller and MacKellar (RIP play by play announcers) paired with sophomore Conlon had...
Chris Sugar and Scott Huston from DIII Hockey News did a 98 minute pod previewing this coming season.

UMass Amherst women's ACHA beat the DIII Framingham State women 5-1 this weekend. I would definitely expect ACHA programs at big/more prestigious schools to be at least somewhat competitive if not better than the mid to low end DIII teams at this point.
Oz beat St. Johns Fisher 3-1
Wilkes 5 - William Smith 0
Those are the others I know. Not sure why its so close to the vest this year. Maybe it has to do with what Prez said above and schools are too stretched thin,
It's a shame Castleton didn't have any coverage of the game other than the score. As a Plattsburgh fan, I'm very curious to know how they got to 7 goals. They only dropped seven on a team once last season, and that was against Buff State. It was the only game where they scored over 5 goals all...
University of St. Joseph, based in West Hartford, CT, has announced new men's and women's programs for Fall 2026. No conference has been announced but they are a geographic fit for the CNE.
The programs will be based off campus at the International Skating Center of Connecticut in nearby...
If I had to guess either the UCHC or the NCHA. I think the UCHC is the most likely as the NCHA already has a lot of teams. As to whether they get admission right away or have to tough it out as an independent I have no clue.
Hiram will add a women's club next season to go with the men's team launching this year.
Anna Hamid (Cortland '23 or '24, I'm not sure) will be the inaugural head coach. Hamid was a student assistant coach at Cortland due to injury as an upperclassman and then was a grad assistant at...
Yes, that's accurate. Also, the NEHC bid didn't follow to the LEC so that opens up to at-large for now.
In other news, per DIIIHockeyNews, MAC member Albright College (Reading, PA) has posted for a FT women's ice hockey head coach yesterday (along with a men's HC). The posting includes...
I think whoever updates the directory got ahead of whoever does the press releases.
And my understanding is that SUNY schools have to have hiring committees unless they get a waiver. Without the waiver they can hire an interim and do the full search at the later date. In a case like this it...
