The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
I think Augsburg, UWRF and GAC are in great shape and just as secure as Midd and Amherst. I wouldn't be nervous if I were them.
I think Oz should feel pretty comfortable if they can win outright today.
Hamline defeats #3 Gustavus. Augsburg wins 3-1 over St. Mary's.
Augsburg needs one point to clinch the 1 seed. Hamline will be the #3 seed. SMU will be the #4 seed if the Augsburg announcer is correct. He says St. Olaf or St. Benedict will be the #5 playing at SMU in a 5 vs 4 game.
A little more clarity in the SUNYAC after Canton defeats Morrisville and Cortland comes back late in the third and ties Oswego.
The only spot up for grabs is #4. If Canton wins or ties they take it. Morrisville needs to win. #3 seed Cortland will travel to #2 seed Plattsburgh. #1 Oswego hosts...
Clickbait video did its job since we're talking about it...
and I thought Carla at WCHR saying that 30-game-losing-streak Northland WIH was "building momentum" while lamenting the school's closure was the dumbest thing I'd read from a player advisor group today...

Northland is officially closing this spring. They won't be attempting to stay open like they did last year.
They went 0-19 with a roster of 16. Their best scorers were junior Kyleigh Moffatt with 7 points in 19 games and sophomore Kennedy Gruhlke with 5 points in the same number of games...
Also, Colby plays Midd twice this weekend and are right behind Plattsburgh so if Colby takes one or both games they will likely move into final Pool C position as they would get Quality Win Bonuses. That and Cortland taking wins from Oswego this weekend are the two biggest threats to their Pool...
NPI finally updated and Plattsburgh is only down to 8 and with Endicott being in line for Pool A they are still in Pool C contention as of now.
I think for the sake of their standing in the NPI, Plattsburgh would need an Oswego sweep of Cortland since the Lakers are already ahead of the Cards...
Williams pulls of their second straight upset beating #8 Plattsburgh 3-2. The Cardinals will likely have to win the SUNYAC Pool A to avoid missing their first NCAA tourney since 2011, I'd be surprised if they were still in position for a Pool C in the NPI after this one...heartbreaker for the...
For SUNYACs the scenarios depend on the Cortland vs Oswego home-and-home this weekend.
If Oswego sweeps they're first, Plattsburgh is 2nd and Cortland is 3rd. SUNYAC semis are Cortland at Plattsburgh and either Canton or Morrisville at Oswego.
If Cortland sweeps in regulation both games...
I believe if Cortland sweeps, Cortland would end up the one seed on head to head over both Oz and Platty, Oswego would be 2nd by virtue of winning the shootout that took place after the tie that took place in the first game between the Lakers and Cardinals. Plattsburgh would be 3rd and have to...
Plattsburgh goalie Eli Shiller was included in senior night honors despite being only listed as a junior on the roster. It looks like the Cardinals will need to replace both Hearne and Shiller.
Here's what I've gathered so far. As always, unlike DI there are no binding NLIs and these commitments are based solely on the public announcement of a player's intent to enroll and play for a program. They are subject to change and are not considered fully official until a player is on the...
After getting drubbed 7-0 yesterday, Williams extracted revenge against #1 Middlebury on their leg of the home-and-home with a 4-1 win.
Manhattanville defeats #12 Utica 2-1 in OT.
Those are the only two big upsets I can spot for today...
Auggies went from 2nd to 4th in NPI, so even if the season ended today even if Bowdoin and Hamline won the NESCAC and MIAC tourneys respectively Augsburg is still in.
USCHO Top 15 as of 2/10:
1. Midd
2. UWRF
3. GAC
4. Augsburg
5. Oswego
6. Amherst
7. Adrian
8. Plattsburgh
9. Cortland
10. SNC
11. Endicott
12. Colby
12. Utica
14. Bowdoin
15. Nazareth
My quibble as a Plattsburgh fan is that Oswego jumps two spots for beating Canton twice while Plattsburgh...
