The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
I guess your Spartan friend was right Iowa. Cornell 4, MSU 3.
I think the Big Red are on a magic carpet ride. My fellow Colgate fans may feel otherwise but I would like to see Cornell win it all. It would be good for our league. And I would be happy for Mike Schafer.
Congratulations to Brett Chorske for being named 1st team All ECAC. And to Michael Neumeier for being named ECAC Rookie of the Year. Great honors to both!
Last year was much more disappointing for me in that I thought we could go to LP and win it again. And we were playing really well at home going into the playoffs. But we forgot how to put the puck in the net and SLU didn’t. This year Cornell was better than us - plain and simple. Bottom line -...
Disappointing end to the season but I think we can all agree that the better team won the series. I don’t know what happened to Cornell during the regular season but they’re definitely a top 4 team and not a 6th place team.
I echo Oldtimers thoughts on our seniors who played their hearts out...
Yes I think so. I don’t remember where we were picked to finish this year but it wasn’t in the top 4. We have a solid team but are we better than Cornell or Dartmouth? We’ll find out soon enough.
Greencoat, what’s a “high alpha” team?
Next tiebreaker is wins, excluding shootout wins. Union and Colgate both have 12 wins. So I think it would come down to our records vs QPac and Clarkson. We win that tiebreaker as Union has no point against those 2 teams.
Yale has only won twice at home all year - one of those was against BU at the end of December. I think BU had several players at the World Juniors then but it was a good win nonetheless.
Brown is 7-1 in their last 8.
I would say Union and Dartmouth.
Brown has been playing better lately. They’re beating Yale today. And Yale had already beaten us this year. We better be ready to go next weekend.
At 19 in the pairwise. When was the last time we were that low?
